Go TITS!
I’m not certain if you can have a worse quarter of football then Sage Rosenfels had in the fourth for the Texans…2 toatally preventable fumbles and an int with no Texan within 10 yards of the attempt.Ouch
i can’t believe Houston had a huge lead and blew it
That comeback may have saved the Colts chances. With BAL, @ GB, @ TEN, NE, @ PIT coming up they really needed that win.
The Browns have now not lost in 2 weeks! ;D
Alright, the Lions are 0-4 and were basically destroyed in every game…and they’re done with the EASY Part of their schedule!!
at Minnesota Vikings
at Houston Texans
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
at Chicago Bears
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
at Carolina Panthers
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
TENNESSEE TITANS
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
at Indianapolis Colts
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
at Green Bay Packers
Look at this schedule…where the heck is their first win?? Maybe the Houston game but I have a real difficult time picking them to win ANY road game and Houston is certainly a better team anyway. Maybe we can get a mild upset over Tampa or NO at home, but I don’t see it. We may be looking at 0-16 here. Hey, at least they would be accomplishing SOMETHING.

whatever you do, just don’t get it back on track before that 3rd game!
We’re back, mother fuckers!

What a monday night game… don’t care to much about either team, but man that was entertaining!
^ Agreed…I’m shocked Minnesota pulled that one out. Special teams pretty much decided this one. Even though the NO special teams had two nice punt returns they also had two missed FGs. One that was blocked and returned for a TD for that matter. NO should have dominated this game. They held AP in check, but Gus Frerrote managed a couple of deep balls on them. Oh yeah Tracy Porter, from The Indiana University, was injured meaning ex-colt Jason David had to step in. Sorry about that Saints fans. One deep ball later and there was pass interference…although it was on David rather Kaesviharn. Anyways they mentioned that maybe NO should let them score so they have a chance. I think I would have done that. They were left with 11 seconds. No time to do squat.
My team own, but they did not look like the better team. I love the NO offense, but man oh man both defenses were horrible and you could throw anywhere on either…
I am happy the Vikes won, but so sick of seeing Chilly on the sidelines…PERIOD…
yeah, that game was crazy and fun to watch, but I’m with Ryan.
I have lost all faith in this regime being able to take us to the Bowl, so I’m just waiting patiently for Chilly to be fired. It needs to happen soon though. Our defense is in its prime right now.
Maybe we can pull off 9-7 this year and make the playoffs, but we’re not going anywhere meaningful with this coaching staff.
But I’m a trooper so I will continue to live by “In Gus We Trust” until things change. He did get CRUSHED last night a few times and still got up and back into the game.
Not this week against my lie downs, but you will know the phrase…
“In Gus We Bust”
how about “Gus Ferrotten”

I still don’t think Eli is a better QB right now than Peyton. Eli has a better team and a better surrounding cast, but you can’t tell me that if it came down to it you’d rather have Eli than Peyton.
Excerpt:
“Peyton is great, and a near-lock for Canton. Eli may be bound for the same place, with his bust in a slightly nicer corner.”
Two largely laughable statements. Near-lock? NEAR-lock? Yeah, it’ll be close. And to say Eli will end up with the better career?
Get the fuck out of here. I enjoyed TMQ up until this garbage.
^Oh…I haven’t read that TMQ article yet, but I find that he likes to just “put things out there” where he’ll bring up points, stats and facts but it doesn’t mean he’s definitively making that point. Eli is definitely looking better lately than his last two years and you can’t deny that Peyton never won it all until his team focused on the run rather than just the pass (but that’s more on coaching than on Peyton). Easterbrook is to me, one of the better NFL journalists out there…no one seems to analyze X’s and O’s better or have a clue, especially about fraidy-cat punting and stuff like that which drives me nuts as much as it does him. And after all the crazy stuff TMQ has said in the past, THAT is what put you off the most? Really?
They could be totally ON their game and would still lose that game. We NEVER beat the Skins.
As for Childress, I think he’s a decent coach too but he’d be better as coordinator. The way he coaches with his constant punts, never taking risks and cluelessness about getting decent receivers and a QB just baffles me. That team could be SO much better with a few decent players in it. Maybe give him another year or so and maybe he’ll get it.
And glad to see that you’re all finally starting to learn of the joys of Gus Frerotte.

OK…
VIKES 28 LIONS 24
Anyone? If you REALLY look at this game, it should be onesided, but since both teams suck, ya know!
I love my VIKES and will be watching with both eyes open, but man I am nervous here!!!
If they do lose to the Lions, I say off with Childress’s HEAD, NOW!!!
Monday Night Dawg Pound!
3-2 at halftime, Vikes losing
I would be honored to decapitate Chilly.
