Could the week 17 matchup carry a ton of importance? Possibly!

I was just looking at their schedule and they haven’t played a single division game yet!

Pats looked really frickin good on monday night… if they can figure out how to get the ball down the field with a little more effectiveness then they shouldn’t have a problem getting ahead of the bills in the division, so yes that game in week 17 could be very important.

Actually, in the past, it probably meant less since both teams were so good that they were both making the playoffs anyway. If anything, this time it probably means more since neither team is blowing away their division like usual.

Go Vikings…

Umm, yeah… ok!!! Go Gophers College hockey!!!

and against the Bills too!

How bout them Brownies.

Hey how come you only post in here after they win?

Lets go Titans!!

Because.

^LMAO, now that is a classic answer pholks!!

Anybody who says tonight’s game isn’t a must-win for the Colts is crazy! They’re fighting for a wild-card. Their AFC South dominance, I think, has ended. They’re just too old and too injured. Why the hell can’t everyone be healthy all at once?!! That’d be asking too much.

^hey Neil, try being a Lions fan. That IS asking too much of anyone, anywhere, any time.

GO LIONS!!

Haha!

Tonight’s game reminds me a lot of last year’s IND/JAX game on MNF in late-October. Everyone was saying “oh, changing of the guard” and “this is the year Jacksonville overtakes the Colts.” What happened? Indy, on the road in a hostile environment, threw the hammer down.

Same thing tonight, folks.

IND 27
TENN 20

The writing is on the wall–>Jim Caldwell era to begin in 2009?

Well the Colts lost another hard fought battle to Tennesse 31-21. They showed a lot of heart out there, but at the end of the day Tennessee is the better football team this year. It really is a shame. Our 53 man roster is far superior to that of Tennessee’s yet there have been so many setbacks to this team: injuries, retirements, drugs, lack of focus by coaching staff.

Oops did I say that about the Coaching staff. What I meant is that Tony Dungy’s lack of focus is hurting us. Does Dungy even want to be on the sideline this year? I see no passion in him with the exception of the Jacksonville game. He was quite animated there. I admit I’m a Dungy supporter and I respect the man as a human being and a football coach, but at what point is enough enough. I have no inside information, but I honestly believe that Irsay coaxed Dungy into coaching this season to open up the new stadium. I don’t think his heart is in coaching anymore. He’s accomplished everything he set out to in the coaching profession I think he’s ready to move onto the next stage of his life. I completely respect this I just wish he would of told Irsay that it’s time to bring in a new era. And by the way I don’t mean the Jim Caldwell era. Isn’t that what we have now? I’m begging Bill Polian and Jim Irsay to reconsider this decision.

I feel like Dungy is just going through the motions and he is off in Florida with his family. Now I know family is more important to anything else in life, but when you make a commitment you have to follow through with it.

I will still always believe in blue and always think we have a chance no matter what, but it’s time to think about offseason changes in 2009.

^Frankly, I’ve NEVER felt that Dungy “wants to be on the sideline”…in ANY game. EVER. Seriously, he’s never looked interested in any game he’s coached but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care.

Either way, I’d say Dungy is at fault if only because he’s not that amazing a coach. If you look at all those teams that looked primed for a Super Bowl and didn’t get it, they all lost due to fatal coaching flaws in my opinion. In many games he and his staff just flat-out quit running the football, even when they could do well at it (this year isn’t quite the case). The Pats would all gear up to stop Peyton and never had to worry about the run since the Colts would come out flinging the ball around in the 2nd half, no doubt. When they finally won it all, they focused on the run and defense to keep them in games and it worked. But that doesn’t excuse Dungy’s bad errors in earlier years. So now that he’s got a team that is struggling, what does he do now?

And the Lions weren’t even on TV last Sunday…whole game was blacked out locally because it didn’t sell out. I listened to most of it on the radio…looks like I didn’t miss much…

Fuck yeah Titans!!!

I knew they were gonna be on fire this year.

who digs my new Redskins vid I made about playing down to winless chump teams level instead of blowing them out by 3 TD’s or more?

^^^that shits gold right there huh

Derek Anderson is out, and Brady Quinn is in.

I am excited.

so the Dolphins have a .500 record for the first time since 2005.

and the first time they had a .500 record at week 9 since 2003.

so that’s pretty hetty.

next week, the Seahawks will be embarrassed.
