If you live in upstate NY come celebrate St. Patty’s with the breakfast this saturday! only $7.
^Um… where abouts?
If these guys are as good as you say, I might be able to swing a ten minute ride to the Saint in Asbury Park the night before Easter. The last band I saw there was Amfibian, and Tom was pretty hot that night.
Damn, this is at the E. Company, they’re real strict about no one under 21 in there. My cousin and her fiance will most likely be there though. It sucks becuase it’s like…5 minutes from my house.
buster, might be able to get lucky cause its st patty’s day. if its only 5 minutes from your place its worth a shot!
fonefono, check this show out for a taste.

dude have fun!!! i know some other dude hittin up those shows too.
still recovering but i recently went on a 4 show [5 night] vacation with my gf. headed down to block island, RI. for those of you not familiar with this here is a map.
[edit] youll have to copy and paste it in your browser [/edit]

this place is amazing! we took the ferry over a day early so we could take it all in. rented some mountain bikes and took a quick tour of some of the island. ate some amazing and cheap lobsters, clams, mussels, etc.
the next day about 25-30 we knew arrived to the island along with the band. we all partied hard on the hotel balconies, on the beach and in the bars. talk about a cool place for a 2 night run! the breakfast played wed and thu at a place called captain nick’s. its a cool bar with a balcony/second floor overlooking the stage. this allowed for a great viewing experience as well as a fantastic light show.
the third show was played adjacent to the ferry departure lot in narragansett, RI at a place called the wheelhouse. this venue is on the second floor of a building and looks over the harbor. incredible sunset on the back porch and the sound was really good too.
we then headed up to albany, ny for the forth and final show. fortunately for us it was on our way home back to syracuse so it worked out well. went to a sushi dinner with the band beforehand and relaxed before the madness began. they played til 3:30am which was awesome since they played 2 full sets but we had to drive home afterwards. rolled into syracuse around 5:30 to see the sunrise. what an ending to our 119 hour vacation/tour.
still cant beleive my trip is over. i havent been on ‘tour’ in a long time, prob great woods > coventry. this experience blew away any vacation or concert/tour ive done with the exception of big cypress. and honestly, this may have been even better than big cypress since it wasnt a long ass car ride there and back.
for anyone still reading, the first 3 nights are on the archive. here are the links.

^ tHAT sounds sweet!!
I heard that Cactus gordon is sitting in with them tonight at Higher Ground.
he was def talking to tim palmieri (guitarist) after their last brahlington show so the possibility of a sit in is def there. i hope it happens but i would say its a stretch. hopefully i am proved wrong!
I wish I could go on breakfast tour of a buffet.
I’d hit up the omelette’s, pancakes, waffles, soy milk shots, and some chocolate cake.
[i]The Breakfast is pleased to announce the addition of keyboardist Matt Oestreicher to the band. Their original keyboardist Jordan Giangreco left the band in the summer of 2006 to pursue personal endeavors. The Breakfast will be debuting Matt in August at The Gathering of the Vibes, Camp Bisco, and a hometown show in New Haven, CT at Toad
more shows added. looks like they will be heading out through the midwest to CO and cali shortly afterwards.

WWWHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Moorhead show!!
The Broken Ax is tits…its a stone building, over 100 years old. Used to be a jail or something. Very cool acoustics in there. And its a five-minute bike ride over the river from my house!
booyah.
Nice! Finally Chicago!
The Kinetic Playground is tiny as well.
I’ll be able to get some nice pictures for sure.
Thanks for heads up booze! You seem to really like them.
Looking forward to finally hearing them.
these guys bring the heat on stage. ive caught them over 20 times the past year and still cant get enough. their sound and light guys are both young but have improved a ton over the past 6 months. they have 4 huge light stacks for the summer so be ready for a stellar light show. hopefully these will still be on the road with them in the fall (they were borrowed).
def give this one a listen http://www.archive.org/details/breakfast2007-02-17.nt3.flac16
