HAS ANYONE HEARD THIS ALBUM BEFORE?, IF SO, HOW IS IT?
Are you talking about Crimes of the Mind?
I don’t like it.
I would love to own it, but I’d probably never listen to it.
cough
sendspace?
cough
I think it’s good, man. I saw the tour actually … Fish was the drummer, and I remember I asked him when the new CD (Hoist) was gonna arrive (they were on set break or their show was over or something, he was shooting pool). Only word I got from him was “March”.
But yeah, the Crimes of the Mind album is good for what it is. It’s more an album of the Dude’s tunes, and Phish happens to be the studio band. It ain’t a Phish album.
My favorite tunes are “Bitchin Again”, “Ordinary Day”, “TV Show” & “Revolution’s Over”.
“Self” features the “Chalkdust” riff.
It’s a pretty punky album, not terribly ambitious in any way. Amazon’s got dudes selling it used for $0.69 before shipping.
ugh. this album was awful. did sort of like “Lucy”. never a fan of the dude too much.
a quick request: i have twelve bad original songs. i would like to hire phish to be my backing band. thank you.
Chalkdust features the Self riff.
I believe.
Some of it’s pretty fun. For the most part, it’s just quirky lyrics and some good musicians… why does that sound so familiar??
Here’s a student made film of Ordinary Day.
wait… who’s the DUDE LIFE??
Isn’t he guy that randomly perfomed as a guest at Phsh shws?
^ He is also guy who wrote the lyrics to Fluffhead, and used to play with Trey pre-phish I believe.
(psst … goldenroad … those previous two posts weren’t serious.)
sorry man…I’m just working and shit and glossing over stuff…I wasn’t paying attention really
I just keep waiting for that sendspace file
thnkfrstpal?
vern?
the actual thnkfstpal?
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiii88888.
Finally listened to this yesterday for the first time. Still listening to it actually. I like it. It’s fun. It’s better than Joy ![]()
