^in which case another bully steps in to replace the old one. the entire system is broken, and the entire system is gonna crash and i bet it’ll be pretty soon. but those in power won’t go down w/out a fight and it’s gonna get worse before it gets better. but it will get better. strange, scary and exciting times we are in these days!
and Fee…really? is it really that hard to believe? what would you think if you discovered that it’s actually true? the information is now quite publicly available, and once you actually look at it, it makes perfect sense. the Illuminati/elite ruling class is real, their goal is indeed a new world order and the evidence is everywhere. history is repeating itself right now. google the Windsor/Bush geneology. this bloodline has been in power in the world for a very, very long time, and have been using the same tactics to supress the common person and keep the bloodline in power for generations upon generations. it’s all there to be seen hidden in plain sight, you just have to look.
All I can say is that we’ve been hearing about doomsday scenarios in every facet of this country for YEARS and not a single one has come CLOSE to happening. Not even CLOSE. Maybe if actually ONE of these “truthers” had something they said come true, then maybe I’d start believing them but I’m still waiting.
Oh that’s right…it HAS happened and just none of us “sheep” are smart enough to realize it. I forgot.
Oh well…there’s always Europe if you guys want things to be better…snicker…
Stevo
one of many “predictions” from one of those mad truthers made two months before 9/11:
[flash=350,287]http://www.youtube.com/v/UGtOFudmHG8&hl=en&fs=1[/flash]
snickers really satisfy don’t they? just make sure to take small bites.
Darn…no audio here at the library. I’d need a text of what he said.
Either way, people predicting a terrorist attack on the US is nothing new since it’s been going on for decades and decades. It’s even still going on now…people predict one every year so eventually they WILL be right. Did that guy film one of those every year and then ignore all the times he was wrong and point at the one time he was right? Spare me. Besides, a terrorist attack is NOT a “financial breakdown” or a depression or a government collapse. Sorry.
Stevo
well dang it darla, that is a shame.
and i guess i can’t get through your air-tight circular logic with any silly factual evidence of someone predicting the US Gov’t was planning to carry out a terrorist attack on home soil and pinning it on some ex CIA guy named Bin Laden less than two months before that very thing occured, so i will bow out now and save myself any further humiliation.
Yeah, I’m sure he made videos talking about airplanes flying into buildings and blaming it on a guy named Bin Laden EVERY DAY dude. Heck EVERY HOUR bro…then eventually he would be right. LOL…give me a break…whatever, I’m not here to convince anyone, those that seek will find, those that don’t seek, don’t want to…
Condoleeza and Rumsfeld and the whole administration claimed there was “no way we could have ever predicted planes being used as weapons”, really?? then how did this guy???
their ballgame is over, the truth is rising everyday, and WE THE PEOPLE WILL WIN, in the end…
NOW BACK TO THE FINANCIAL COLLAPSE
here’s an email from Ron Paul today
Wednesday, September 24, 2008
Dear Friends,
Whenever a Great Bipartisan Consensus is announced, and a compliant media assures everyone that the wondrous actions of our wise leaders are being taken for our own good, you can know with absolute certainty that disaster is about to strike.
The events of the past week are no exception.
The bailout package that is about to be rammed down Congress’ throat is not just economically foolish. It is downright sinister. It makes a mockery of our Constitution, which our leaders should never again bother pretending is still in effect. It promises the American people a never-ending nightmare of ever-greater debt liabilities they will have to shoulder. Two weeks ago, financial analyst Jim Rogers said the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac made America more communist than China! “This is welfare for the rich,” he said. “This is socialism for the rich. It’s bailing out the financiers, the banks, the Wall Streeters.”
That describes the current bailout package to a T. And we’re being told it’s unavoidable.
The claim that the market caused all this is so staggeringly foolish that only politicians and the media could pretend to believe it. But that has become the conventional wisdom, with the desired result that those responsible for the credit bubble and its predictable consequences - predictable, that is, to those who understand sound, Austrian economics - are being let off the hook. The Federal Reserve System is actually positioning itself as the savior, rather than the culprit, in this mess!
Here"s Ron Paul talking about the New World Order,…
I guess he’s f__ckin NUTS!!!
[flash=350,287]http://www.youtube.com/v/Z8DpKKSmaa8&hl=en&fs=1[/flash]
thanks thnkfrst. i’m doing my best. it’s hard to stand up to the dominant thinking structure and face ridicule and hostility most of the time, so i appreciate that. i’m glad to see things are beginning to change in significant numbers now. we are waking up. no one can stop an idea who’s time has come…and that time has finally come.
i mean no disrespect to anyone here in any way, but seriously…wake up folks. life is about to get real fucked and the gov’t does not have your best interests at heart. the truth is the truth is the truth no matter how much you don’t want to believe it. this is our world. we can stop this. we can win this. open your eyes and ears and find out what you’re not being told by the corporate owned media. find out what you’re not supposed to know and why. we are at a very crucial time right now and if we remain apathetic, we lose. forever. the time is now.
^ HERO IN ACTION
^^wow, thanks but i think i can personally guarantee those words have never been said before in any kind of relation to me in the history of my life. honestly i’m scared to death of what i think is happening, and i’m hoping we can all get out of this unscathed is all. :-/
For one, predicting something that didn’t actually happen (the govt doing it themselves) isn’t exactly predicting something, now is it? Ex-CIA?..boy now THAT’S funny. I wonder where these folks would come up with their stuff if they didn’t have shows like the X-Files to make up all their theories of “super duper secret govt agencies” for them. Seriously, they give government agencies WAAAAAYYY too much credit. You think that government can run ANYTHING, let alone blow up two buildings in the biggest city in the country with NO ONE NOTICING? Oh wait…that’s right…Dubya being an idiot for his entire life and the Congress being largely incompetent is just a facade and its actually just putting on a show while that dastardly CIA controls everything from behind closed doors…I forgot.
Also in 1997, Wag the Dog was a movie about basically the same thing with the country making up a war for to get the president more popularity. It didn’t involve blowing up the WTC, but it’s the same concept. I guess they beat that guy to it.
(Not to mention that the dude probably just recorded it after the fact and then changed the time stamp. But, then again, no one ever checks facts like THAT…they just blindly believe whatever they’re told. Those truther folks and the government supporters…they’re all tools just on different sides. How sad).
And, seriously guys…let’s say you’re totally right and I’m totally wrong and everything the truthers say is right. How does that change ANY part of your every day life. Take a GOOD look at things and you’ll find it doesn’t. As long as you don’t work in any national landmarks, you’ll probably be fine. Whether it’s the government that’s corrupt or the CIA, it doesn’t matter…we all get pissed on either way. Best to not worry about it since there’s nothing you can do to stop it anyway. (Oh yeah, I forgot…AWARENESS will solve everything!! Vive la Revolution!!)
By the way…I should note that if Ron Paul was actually able to run for president, I would have voted for him in a second…I’m with you guys on that, at least. He’s a smart dude (though a bit misguided on the Federal Reserve).
Sadly, he’s also misguided on “calling Congress” to get them to stop this stuff. (ring ring) “Hey, Congressmen…yeah…hey, this is Steve. I’m some dude in Michigan. I know you and your party have been getting millions in lobbying dollars over many years from Freddie and Fanny and you’re likely big friends with many of their top execs and have a tee time with them this Sunday but, hey…could you please not give them this bailout even though it would alienate them and would end millions of dollars in perks that you and your party receive as a result? Okay, thanks” (click)
Yeah, that’ll do it. And if the CIA runs everything, then why would calling Congress do anything anyway?
Stevo
okay man, that’s cool. agree to disagree i guess.
just to put it out there, i don’t consider myself an irrational person. i don’t just swallow anything i’m told. it takes much more than that to convince me of something on this level. i have taken the time and effort to research all this stuff thoroughly (and of course try to discern truth from fiction), and through that research i have come to the conclusion that (to put it in the most down-to-earth terms) there is indeed a movement toward a “one world government” happening. in order for something like this to happen, certain catastrophies have to take place, creating fear and compliance in the populace in order to “take the appropriate action” of eradicating individual rights “for your own security”. when your rights are gone, well then it’s even easier to control the populace. and when the level of fear is high enough, the unAWARE populace will actually beg for the “protection and safety” only the gov’t will provide. and it’s been done over and over again throughout history. it’s a very simple formula, though the planning and detail put into it is quite staggering.
knowledge is power. it’s very important to keep the public as ignorant and confused to the truth as possible–it makes them compliant and easy to control. that is why awareness is important. awareness is the very first step toward change. i mean does this make any sense to you? do you see how something like this is possible? can we agree there has been a dismanteling of our rights over the last 7 years? can we agree that we have not been given the truth by our government concerning 9/11? the “inside job” theory could be wrong, but do you think we’ve been told the truth? why have we been misled, lied to, kept ignorant? why? dosen’t it make you angry? anyway, when you ask why, and you start digging for the answers, it begins to dawn on you what’s going on, and WHY it’s going on. it’s no longer mysterious, it’s as clear as day.
ah jeez i could go on and on. no point. sorry for the rant.
^Hey, I don’t deny any of that. The fact that people were cool with the government wire-tapping and such after 9/11 was appalling to me.
The fact of the matter is this…there’s a LOT of fucking stupid people in this country and no amount of awareness will result in them ever figuring out what’s going on. Yes, “The South”…I’m looking at you. Only 50% of people even graduate high school so if they can’t even do that then the concept of one-world government is far beyond them. You’ll never get the majority of folks on your side just because they’re too fucking stupid. It’s also why major change never happens in government since it’s all about image instead of substance. Ron Paul could talk circles around any of the current candidates but it doesn’t matter…he wasn’t marketable enough. Neither is the truther movement.
Besides, i think one-world government is flawed because of one big factor…GREED. It doesn’t take into factor that there will always be people who see the opportunity to break away from the group mentality and seek for profit for themselves at the expense of the movement. Greed will inevitably destroy any one-world movement that may occur. Whether it’s someone getting paid big bucks to write a tell-all book or spill the beans to the media or to siphon large amounts of cash to their business or whatever it may be. Greed will always stop the gears of this type of movement just like it’s halted all productivity of our current government.
And if you REALLY want to spread awareness? Just crash some planes into the Sears Tower and set it up to blame the US government. Maybe have Toby Keith write a song about it to get the hicks on your side. It’ll work, right? That’ll get people on your side. And I’m only KIND of joking… ;D
Stevo
i disagree with Ron Paul not being marketable enough. he’s totally marketable, but once he started laying it down, he was simply made to disappear from the mainstream media. you gotta play ball with the big boys in order to have media support, and clearly he’s calling game over. the Rep/Dem “choice” is fucking laughable. it’s child’s play. yes or yes, those are your choices. why? they play by the rules, go along with the plan and 90% of the population gobble it up like banana pancakes. aaaaaanyway…
sadly, you’re probably right about that last scenario there. in fact, Toby Kieth could probably win a goddamn presidential election before Ron Paul could.
^^^^WOW, ok so doing NOTHING is better than calling your congressman??, FYI millions of people are calling congress right now, yesterday, everyday…the page that answered my phone call sounded scared after I told her how appalled I was at this bailout bill.
Sorry if your low self esteem or apathy keeps you from speaking out, but as an American I would expect you to be a little more supportive of me doing something as opposed to nothing.
Look, the offfical story is hogwash, that much is clear.
guys who live in caves with box cutters outwitted the greatest air defense in the world??, sorry, I’m not buying it…3 buildings fell but only 2 planes hit??, I’m not buying it…
Just like I’m not buying their NSA spy on US bill
Just like I’m not buying the War On Drugs
Just like I’m not buying the WMD’s
Just like I’m not buying this bailout bill…
Just like I’m not buying that jet fuel melts steel (The maximum flame temperature increase for burning hydrocarbons (jet fuel) in air is, thus, about 1000
P.S. I broke open my LIVEPHISH collection last weekend, SWEET STUFF
Ron Paul’s email today
MY ANSWER TO THE PRESIDENT
tell the truth instead of being toyed with by the Fed.
Not a word about any of that, of course, because Americans might then discover how the great wise men in Washington caused this great debacle. Better to keep scapegoating the mortgage industry or “wildcat capitalism” (as if we actually have a pure free market!).
Speaking about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the president said: “Because these companies were chartered by Congress, many believed they were guaranteed by the federal government. This allowed them to borrow enormous sums of money, fuel the market for questionable investments, and put our financial system at risk.”
Doesn’t that prove the foolishness of chartering Fannie and Freddie in the first place? Doesn’t that suggest that maybe, just maybe, government may have contributed to this mess? And of course, by bailing out Fannie and Freddie, hasn’t the federal government shown that the “many” who “believed they were guaranteed by the federal government” were in fact correct?
Then come the scare tactics. If we don’t give dictatorial powers to the Treasury Secretary “the stock market would drop even more, which would reduce the value of your retirement account. The value of your home could plummet.” Left unsaid, naturally, is that with the bailout and all the money and credit that must be produced out of thin air to fund it, the value of your retirement account will drop anyway, because the value of the dollar will suffer a precipitous decline. As for home prices, they are obviously much too high, and supply and demand cannot equilibrate if government insists on propping them up.
It’s the same destructive strategy that government tried during the Great Depression: prop up prices at all costs. The Depression went on for over a decade. On the other hand, when liquidation was allowed to occur in the equally devastating downturn of 1921, the economy recovered within less than a year.
The president also tells us that Senators McCain and Obama will join him at the White House today in order to figure out how to get the bipartisan bailout passed. The two senators would do their country much more good if they stayed on the campaign trail debating who the bigger celebrity is, or whatever it is that occupies their attention these days.
F.A. Hayek won the Nobel Prize for showing how central banks’ manipulation of interest rates creates the boom-bust cycle with which we are sadly familiar. In 1932, in the depths of the Great Depression, he described the foolish policies being pursued in his day - and which are being proposed, just as destructively, in our own:
Instead of furthering the inevitable liquidation of the maladjustments brought about by the boom during the last three years, all conceivable means have been used to prevent that readjustment from taking place; and one of these means, which has been repeatedly tried though without success, from the earliest to the most recent stages of depression, has been this deliberate policy of credit expansion.
To combat the depression by a forced credit expansion is to attempt to cure the evil by the very means which brought it about; because we are suffering from a misdirection of production, we want to create further misdirection - a procedure that can only lead to a much more severe crisis as soon as the credit expansion comes to an end… It is probably to this experiment, together with the attempts to prevent liquidation once the crisis had come, that we owe the exceptional severity and duration of the depression.
The only thing we learn from history, I am afraid, is that we do not learn from history.
The very people who have spent the past several years assuring us that the economy is fundamentally sound, and who themselves foolishly cheered the extension of all these novel kinds of mortgages, are the ones who now claim to be the experts who will restore prosperity! Just how spectacularly wrong, how utterly without a clue, does someone have to be before his expert status is called into question?
Oh, and did you notice that the bailout is now being called a “rescue plan”? I guess “bailout” wasn’t sitting too well with the American people.
The very people who with somber faces tell us of their deep concern for the spread of democracy around the world are the ones most insistent on forcing a bill through Congress that the American people overwhelmingly oppose. The very fact that some of you seem to think you’re supposed to have a voice in all this actually seems to annoy them.
I continue to urge you to contact your representatives and give them a piece of your mind. I myself am doing everything I can to promote the correct point of view on the crisis. Be sure also to educate yourselves on these subjects - the Campaign for Liberty blog is an excellent place to start. Read the posts, ask questions in the comment section, and learn.
H.G. Wells once said that civilization was in a race between education and catastrophe. Let us learn the truth and spread it as far and wide as our circumstances allow. For the truth is the greatest weapon we have.
In liberty,
Ron Paul
^^^^^^ I’m not worried about ME el bastarde, I’m worried about YOU, it’s called EMPATHY. Very useful
