The Helping Friendly Book - A Work of Fiction

Then, Mark said, “The Highest Authorities say that all Lizard People will unlock the magic of this plant in time. Lizards must now appreciate that this plant is regarded as sacred in the overall universe and is here to help you to better understand the aesthetic throughout our lacuna.” Just then I grew in great size and strength and took on the features of an older person and I also began to speak in the traditional Lotuk language as if I had known it for ages. The Lizards were astounded. I answered my father, “We can live in reconciliation with each other. We must learn to harvest this plant in great numbers and take in the flame as moderate stewards of what we can learn from it.”

Then, they followed the storm back to the mountain and I climbed the ridge alone. The Lizards soon followed in suit all the way to the top and I proclaimed that this was where I would create my imperative arboretum. They took the potted plant and set it next to me. I began to water and sing to the plant even though this was perplexing to the citizens. I began to think about Those Who Worship the Water and if The Lizard People could ever live with them in Gamehendge side by side. Their cultures were so different and the complexities lingered in a delicate balance. There was no storm at this time. There was just a single cloud that my father and his craft hid inside throughout the day. The sun was shining very brightly and the Lizards prepared a giant festival and feast for this miracle of growth that I had achieved in such a brief moment. Mark wept because he knew that a new age had begun in this land. My father proceeded to light his plant and ingest the sacred smoke in the name of his homeland that he dearly missed. It would be a while before I would be old enough to ingest the plant on my own. This was the time of a great transition in Gamehendge and would lead to a giant harvest of a plant that would lend itself to a myriad of uses.

I stopped dancing for a moment and dropped to my knees and shouted, “A new age has begun…But a man will come and will use this plant against us. We must prepare for the time when I will not be able to leave this mountain. I will be trapped…And my fellow Lizard brothers and sisters will not be able to visit me. There will be a very dark time…and this time will be marked by the dark king.” I continued and proclaimed, “This is the time to prepare I have seen the future through the flame and it says praise the landscape and honor those that have given their lives in the name of conserving your sacred space. We will work in their name!”

Those That Worship the Water continued to linger in my mind. My native family knew of these people and their powerful understanding of the elements. The Lizard People had mixed signals based on the previous conflict. However, I noticed that there was a new generation of younger Lizard People who appeared to be more open to the idea of learning more about the culture that resided beyond the borders of their villages. Gamehendge was a vast area and I could sense that the Lizard People were in a period of reestablishing themselves as a community. There was worry in their eyes and this was mixed with a curiosity and genuine sense of hope for the future. We were at a cross roads. We would soon establish the farm.

And the four shall play…

I applaud and encourage your efforts Rob.

Of course I also applaud and encourage your critics.

No worthwhile art can be forged without heat from the gods, so when Thor wields his mighty hammer, keep your humor lest he smash your work into oblivion. Likewise, when the Big One speaks, the razor of wisdom cuts through illusion, the truth splayed before you.

Listen and learn, for behind us all is love, Ohkeepa fashion.

Fone - Good advice and I am always one to encourage and invite constructive criticism. However, there is a huge difference between constructive criticism and coming into a thread just to say something to insight an argument.

I Teach Breeding

One day while I was meditating on top of the mountain, I saw that the plant that they had brought had grown little patches of round objects which I somehow automatically knew were the traits of a male plant. I don’t know how I knew this but the information had somehow always been within me. I motioned for some of the Lizards to come and witness this act. Then, I climbed down to the foot of the mountain and made my way to the river where I located a female plant. I took this plant back to the mountain and ordered that a great migration was about to take place. Some time passed and the two plants created the first seeds that would be planted at the base of the mountain. The knowledge about this farm spread throughout the land that would come to be known as Gamehendge, so that many Lizard People would understand the precedence of the plant that they had wrongly neglected for all this time. Large masses of Lizard People would soon appear at the foot of the mountain so that they could contribute and champion this new farm. These people would eventually be held in high regard by the further generations of Lizards and would be treated as spiritual masters within their local community.

I Discuss the First Harvest

I saw that more and more Lizards were coming to the foot of the mountain to watch this farm propagate and I climbed down to speak to these individuals Many Lizards would gather around me and he began to sing:

“These seeds will bear fruit and they shall provide a gateway to what lies beyond this land; Our craft will come and we will embrace the mysteries of the universe!”

“These seeds will heal the sick and will help those that are sad and ill.”
“Linear time will seem childish upon our ingesting of this sacred gift.”

“Praise the gift and ingest the fire!”

“Blessings to those that breed this plant…For the approaching craft will protect them and provide the pathway! Do not destroy this plant because it does what no other plant can do; what lies beyond is the gift!”

“Blessings to the weak minded who judge without taking in the flame because they are marked by the old way. Embrace them as your family. Four will come…and they will speak in tongues. Our citizens shall be etched in the history of a far away place. They call this place planet Earth.”

Just then a great storm came and soaked the ground for many hours. The small and innocent children that had come with their families to cultivate the farm sang these words over and over again while a glorious sound came from the clouds. Days of dancing and the forging of friendships continued while the plants grew stronger and brighter in color. This book would become the way that the light was preserved from the coming darkness.

I name Gamehendge

I was sleeping one evening and had a marvelous dream. I would later write about this experience in detail in the book of Forbin. In this dream my father came to me and said, “They are the illuminated ones of this land. Our home was not so different at one point. It is time to give these Lizards a reference point. Build the sign…You are loved young Icculus.” I suddenly awoke and next to me was laid out a series of pebbles that spelled out the Lotuk translation of Gamehendge. I could not sleep and stayed up for the rest of the night staring prudently at these pebbles. The next morning I went to the rhombus with a group of friends and together we made a sign out of papyrus and ink. This sign would later be duplicated and constructed throughout the entire landscape. It simply said “Gamehendge.” As this sign was being made I would begin to show signs of being sensitive to electrical current. My eyes changed color and the Lizard People said, “You are the answer to our message that we sent. You are the one true way and our beloved brother. We shall go into this untold journey together. Since your arrival the storm has brought with it glorious music for us all to enjoy and we thank you for it. What is ours is yours.” We hugged each other and I said, “We will join the old with the new and make a fresh land where many games will lead to extensive knowledge and spiritual understanding. Behold the land of Gamehendge! However, it is wise to not put me on a pedestal. We must remain balanced in this mystery.”

Just then a single flash of light ignited the entire sky and all of the Lizards fell to their knees for I had said that morning that the brightest of all lanterns would present itself over the land. The lantern shined in the most luminous of fashions and this began to change the Lizard People on a cellular level.

Beautifully strange music began to come from the sky and we were all enamored by the sounds that were making their way to this new land of Gamehendge. We were moving through this future together and I felt leveled, untroubled and tranquil. The music played on for some time and we all did our best to absorb this healing light and sound. We could feel ourselves growing stronger and wiser. However, we also knew that there would be a dark time coming and that the true test would eventually be upon the people of this land.

I couldn’t help to think about Those Who Worship the Water and the stories that the Lizard People shared about this culture. The music played on and I wondered if the two could ever reach a balance and get on the same page to work at a unified goal towards the celestial community that they could both be a part of in the future. I understood that this land needed these two cultures to work together to build the required antennae to call The Great Mystery down.

I brought the Lizards up to their feet and proclaimed that my prediction had revealed itself through this miraculous manifestation. The group went back to the mountain and we held a great feast in the name of the new land and the four enigmatic musicians who showered us with the radiant sound. There were more musicians that would make their way through the clouds as time passed in Gamehendge. We would learn that there was an entire fleet of sonic messengers available to the cosmos…And the four shall play.
