Seriously, I was DEATHLY afraid that Michigan State would blow it against the Irish…they have a bad habit of that kind of stuff. It got even worse when State fumbled on their own ten to lead to ND’s first TD (that’s right…ND’s first offensive touchdown was on a 10-yard drive). It’s funny because Charlie Weis is officially neutered since he has all these fancy plays but he can’t run them since he realized his plays can’t do any of them. Nice to see the Spartans punching them in the mouth…especially in the second half…that touchdown pass on 4th and 2 to ice the game was super sweet. I almost felt sorry for Charlie except that cocky bastard said he was never losing to MSU again two years ago so it’s nice to see him eat it. That’s six in a row that we’ve won at South Bend…I don’t know why there was that uproar when State planted their flag at their stadium two years ago…we own their stadium…we might as well show it. Even better was how all of the ESPN showed nothing by ND coverage where they all picked ND and showed Regis making that lame speech…ESPN can shove it…even with ND losing they still ignored the Spartans. Whatever. We’ve got Wisconsin on the road next which could get ugly…of course the Badgers haven’t exactly looked invincible so maybe State has a chance. And suck it, Irish!! HAHAHAHA!!
By the way, can they put Alabama, Arkansas and Kentucky on TV every week? EVERY game they play is ridiculously good. Both teams are tough enough to beat anyone but not good enough to blow anyone out. Man those games were fun.
And if Michigan played Wofford who would win?? (Wofford beat App State this weekend)

Seriously…I feel like writing one. I’m mixed because I’m glad that State just hung in there with Wisconsin but then I’m bummed cuz we definitely had a shot at winning. That roughing-the-passer penalty when Wisconsin was about to punt was a KILLER. ARRGGH. Oh well.
Still, how about upset Saturday. Of the upsets, I was able to see Colorado beat Oklahoma and Florida and West Virginia go down on ESPN. Those games were just awesome. Plus USC had a little scare there at the end and Wisconsin barely survived as well. It’s good since texas, Rutgers and WV were all frauds who hadn’t beat anyone decent. How about the Texas/Oklahoma game next week being between two teams that are 0-1 in the Big-12. HAHAHAHA. Seriously, these college games have been phenomenal this year. What a year already.

Wisconsin is the most overrated team in the top-10.
Did you see that hit a Badger player took while trying to catch a pass over the middle. It was frightening. I’ve been watching football for years and I don’t remember a hit that brutal.
It was beyond brutal. It was craptastic.

Stanford was a 41-point underdog. Not only did they cover, they freaking won the game.
I can’t remember a 2-week stretch in NCAA football where so many powerhouses lost to unheralded teams.

^^Yeah, that’s not to long at all. Seriously though…getting beat AT HOME by one-win Stanford. Now THAT is hilarious. I love the highlights especially with the clutch 4th-down plays by Stanford followed by the Pete-Carroll-Face where he looks absolutely clueless…he used to do that a lot in the NFL.
Even better, how about that LSU/Florida game…that game was just awesome. And what about the BALLS of Les Miles to just go for it on 4th and 1 on the goalline when a field goal would tie it up…especially when they BARELY made a 4th and 1 earlier in the drive. That took some major balls. What a game.
Well…for MSU it’s same old Spartans as they say. The secondary was completely exposed and couldn’t stop anything and yet the offense was could enough to force OT. There were about a million big-time scoring plays in this game. I’m bummed out on the OT since after Northwestern scored, the Spartans passed incomplete to the endzone FOUR times in a row…the run game had been sick all game and they completely went away from it…that was poor. And we’ve got Indiana next…they’re no pushover either. This is not looking good…I’m seen this movie before…

HOLY CRAP! The LSU game against Kentucky was awesome. Just non-stop craziness throughout. And this is with everyone calling Kentucky a fraud. How silly.
And that Cal quarterback?..Talk about a boneheaded move.
The best part…now Ohio State is #1…and their next opponent…why it’s my Michigan State Spartans on ABC at 3:30!! It’s unlikely but a win in their building would be just awesome. We did it in 98…it’s possible. GO STATE!
