That was a fantastic weekend of football. As an Eagles fan, don’t have too much to go for this offseason, but again, as an Eagles fan, seeing the Cowboys lose is great! And T.O. Crying! (Not that its a first). Being that I’m an NFC East guy, I still have to route against the Giants from now on, so go Packers.
I’d really like to see the Chargers win it all, they’ve been around and good the past couple years and haven’t been able to get it.
The best part though, the 6 dollars that I parlayed on the Chargers and the Giants yielded a nice $120 win for me.

My quick playoff picks are easy:
-Green Bay ain’t losing at home. Not to Eli. Sorry. Won’t happen. However, the Giants D will keep them in it. Packers win but don’t cover the 7-point spread.
-Pats destroy the Chargers. Sorry. That’s what you get for ruining the nice Colts/Pats matchup. Yes, the spread is 14 and they cover too.

^Rationally I agree with this analysis, but cosmically, I wouldn’t bet on the Patriots. They hold the current longest winning streak of 21 games (in 2003), and could be heading there again, at least everyone thinks so. But being this unbeatable is still bucking the odds, and sooner or later the team is going to experience some kind of emotional letdown, and when they do, any decent team will beat them.
^That’s what the haters have been saying all year, and have yet to be proven right. But that’s why they play the game!

Green Bay has gone bonkers!
First a guy there is arrested because he forcibly taped a GB jersey to his 7 year-old son, who didn’t want to wear it. Then a Fox affiliate is not showing Seinfeld in its usual 5:30pm slot because it is Eli’s favorite show.
Yeah, I can just see Eli going “OH MY GOD!! I CAN’T FIND SEINFELD!!! THAT’S IT!! I’M NOT PLAYING!!!”
Great idea, GB network. Meanwhile there are tons of people living in Green Bay and flipping to Seinfeld and saying “What the hell?”
