That was probably the most brutal Vikings loss I’ve ever had the un-pleasure of watching.
Tarvaris Jackson threw 4 interceptions. 100 yards in penalties. No passes thrown and completed further than 10 yards. We missed a 50 yard field goal in regulation to win the game by less than a foot. We fumbled a snap and gave the Lions awesome field position in overtime.
ugh. season officially over, no matter how good our defense is, our offense is the worst ever. EVER!
Yeah, 2 games in, it’s all over.

It will give someone a leg up for home field in the AFC, that’s for sure.
Their matchup last year in the AFC championship game was the highest rated TV program of the 06-07 season up to that point. I’m not sure if it finished #1 or not. Probably not.
Well I’m a Lions fan and, yeah, it WAS brutal. It was like each team was like “Okay, YOU win the game.” “No No…YOU win the game!” “No No…I insist…why don’t YOU win the game.”
What’s funny is how much WORSE the Lions offense looks when Kitna was out and that piece of crap O’Sullivan came in. It wasn’t even CLOSE. Seriously, that’s a game that in past years the Lions lose 100% of the time. Holy crap was it frustrating. And yeah…Tavaris Jackson was a disaster…the Lions got a decent pass-rush on him a LOT and he had NO clue what to do. That was nice.
And boy…didn’t the Pats look like they KNEW exactly what the Chargers defense was calling???..Oh wait…they got busted…we can’t use that excuse anymore…
And anytime that Alex Smith wants to throw for more than 200 yards or maybe throw a touchdown would be fine by me…he’s killing my fantasy team. Thank God for Andre Johnson.
And I think that someone finally reminded the New Orleans Saints that they’re the New Orleans Saints. Everything seems right in the world again.
