Dudes. Saturday. Saturday night, even.
Played a little festival today in Millis MA that we do every summer … this was the best one so far.
I got up at 8 this morning to do that, after working office > bar gig yesterday. So now it’s beers at the PC while I edit the recordings of all this music. The festival was Yoga-centered, and there were three Kirtan acts I recorded … that was challenging to mic’ up (I was ‘sound guy’). Kind of wild compared to the bar gig, really. Or maybe it’s the bar that’s wild.
Actually had an eventful Saturday as we had our work golf outing…four teams of 4 where we take the best shot of the four and play from there. Pretty convenient for me as my drives suck though we actually kept four of mine which basically meant that my three partners were hitting theirs into the trees or the lake. Good time.
After that, it was chilling and playing my little Folklore game for the PS3 and watching Max Scherzer lose his first game. Fell asleep around midnight and woke up in time to catch Lincecum getting the no-hitter.
I wish it was still Saturday.
I wish we had a I wish it was still Saturday thread so I didn’t have to post in the Saturday Thread on non-Saturdays to express how much I miss Saturdays. Devin probably agrees.
As for a Tuesday posting in the Saturday Thread there is little comparison like a little slobbering child with sticky ice cream melted onto it’s little chubby fingers that is your responsibility to clean up compared to Superman leaping tall buildings in a single bound.
I have too much time on my hands.
^I agree…the Saturday thread is a bit depressing on a Wednesday.
I’ve got the option of soloing to Steve Miller or Jimmy Buffett who are both around this Saturday. Not sure if I’ll do either.
ohboyohboyohboyohboyohboy it’s FRIDAYYYYYY that means tomorrow issssssssss
ohboyohboyohboyohboy
working 12 hrs today…actually 11.75 cuz I was 15 min late. its gonna be pretty slow anyway, everyones on the river or outta town
NO big deal though…gonna rock phish stream with yall. counting down the hrs
Ill be here seeing DSO. My uncles house is the one on the left (has a pool too).

Rainy Saturday afternoon and I have no problem with it.
Same here, but my plans got rained out. I’ve got a big problem with that. Nothing to do now.
My Saturday pretty much blasted full steam from 7:15a-10:45p. I took care of the baby, cleaned the kitchen, did laundry, and cooked lunch. Then I had to tear apart the whole downstairs storage closet to fish out Makenzie’s entertainment center and bunk bed because we’re redoing her room and I sold her bedroom suit. That was a huge undertaking while having the baby by myself. I had to clean out the dresser in the baby’s room because it went with the suit as well. Then I had to try to put it all back in some sort of order. Still moving things around today!
Was baked for most of Saturday. Watched the golf early on, lost power for about three hours and had Dairy Queen sundaes (love the new chocolate-covered pretzel one they have).
I wish I had a thread named after me.
Signed,
Every other day of the week.
