Pests? Vermin? What do you say to one of those little suckers finding its way into my wife’s brand new Forrester, chewing up the wires to make a nest in the engine compartment while she was on travel for four days? Cost about 850 bucks to fix and the electrical system of the car was never the same after that.
They’ve chewed through plastic garbage cans, attempted to get into the house, and built a nest in my furnace chimney, which, if I didn’t find and remove it, could have caused improper venting of carbon monoxide from the house.
We encourage most of the fauna on our property, and have even considered raising guinea hens to control the tick populations naturally, but too many squirrels just isn’t what I’m into. When the population increases around our house, I trap them and move them to larger wooded areas away from houses, and say good riddance most of the time.
**** I apologize Olfactory for turning this Zeppelin thread into a squirrel rant. Led Zeppelin touring again is really good news and that’s what we should be talking about.
btw, do you think they will have support musicians besides the three original members and Bonham junior?
