sure, ghost and farmhouse are nice records to own, but this is the one Phish album that would sound the best on Vinyl. they really need to do it. also A Live One on vinyl would be very cool to hear.
I second that!
i think they should go and rerelease all of their albums on vinyl. Although that would just look like they are phishing for some more money. but it would be cool.
I would love to hear Round Room on a record… during a snowed in day… drinking brandy…
Too bad it is summer time now… bring on Billy Breathes!
could you imagine rift on vinyl…oh man
Squeazing some of the live stuff onto vinyl would prove problematic but I’m holding out for a Slip Stitch & Pass reelase, just to see that awesome cover in 12"
Decided to rez this thread since I have nothing better to do. I agree that it belongs on vinyl. If any Phish album feels like a classic rock vinyl you’d dig out of a parent’s closet, this is it. Imagine a younger version of you discovering it…“Wow look at this insane cover…what the hell is this album about??”
That is exactly what I thought about when I found my father’s “Freak Out!” and “Absolutely Free” records oh so many years ago.
I dug out my dad’s copy of The Wall for the first time about 2 years ago, and there was like crayon drawn on it. I figured out that when my sister and I were young, we must’ve thought it was a coloring book and drawn on it.
if they released anymore on vinyl i think this would be perfect Swepty away and Steep would be amazing
A Live One on vinyl would make me melt!
Nah, Phish’s live stuff belongs on CD. Billy Breathes really needs a special vinyl release, though…I would snatch it up right quick.
I would think about the Vinyl for sure, I might even buy this if it happened… Nice idea!
I would love to see all their studio albums released on vinyl. I’d buy 'em for sure. I have the three existing ones. I think many of them would have to be two-record sets. If Junta included the bonus cuts, it’d be three. That’s the one I’d really love to see is Junta, on double deluxe double chocolate mushroom dipped vinyl.
