i dont get it, do you freak out when you are offered the 10th goo ball or kind veggie [fill in the blank] at a show?

do you try to moderate the parking lot for that sort of thing … “this is a no vending area!”

do you race in and get a great parking spot in shakedown only to try to leave 5 minutes after the show, yelling and threatening to run over people because you parked in shakedown?

i think the moderation is a bit stronger here than 95% other boards…

considering what goes on AT phish shows, over-moderation is kind of like an ugly cop kicking over your beer at a show

do i want more of that? no

can i deal with people who are excited about phish?

THIS IS A ONE TOPIC BOARD! imho

a community involves many things, and fostering a stronger community is not about segmenting and compartmentalizing and over organizing things to death… it is about common areas so that we are on the same page. and just like shakedown, it gets a little crowded

i just think some people dont like that phish is back and that their small tight knit community is getting bigger by the day thanks to the excitement of phish 3.0 and all that surrounds

my suggestion, make a new forum for egomaniacs who call people retards for not using the inefficient search here or reading 5 years of non phish stuff

or better yet, a blog

or stay here and be the community asshole and be ready to answer sarcastically and call people names when they refer to you as such

Or you can be like me and just never make threads and just respond to the ones already here. Even if I have an original thought to put, I just throw it in the “good morning Oh kee pa” thread rather than make a new topic.

Though I’ll also say that the obsession over which topic goes where is a LIL silly since frankly I couldn’t care less but since is one of the least anal message boards on the internet, I’ll give that a pass. Some of them are like the on-topic Nazis.

Woah. I’m not angry or anything. I’ve just seriously read about 8 or 9 threads, all about tickets to RR. People would make one while there was clearly another one right there. I’m just saying look around at least a little bit if it’s possible that there was a recent thread. And no i don’t think i’ve ever gotten to a show early enough to park on shakedown. I don’t yell at people to move because I like to chill for a little while get some food maybe have a beer, esspecially after a really good show. And lastly when have i called anyone ‘names’? You just called ,me an asshole right before you said that i call people names.
