so ticketbastard totally fucked me over!! I ordered a ticket for the Disco Biscuits NYE show, but i accidentally clicked on the 12/30 show and got those tickets instead, and i didn’t notice until my ticket confirmation. I called them today and they said they couldn’t help me. I couldn’t believe it! I made a simple mistake and they couldnt fix it. i could swear i was talking to a robot on the phone, who said that she “sure couldn’t help me”. what a fucking bitch. One time an airline let me switch tickets when i messed up the dates, i dont see how this is any different!! Anybody know how i can get out of the mess. and the shittiest part of this all is that i got them Will Call so i have to pick them up if i want to do anything with them, and I already have plans for friday… to see The Slip in Brooklyn, for my birthday, because they understand december’s children. and i can’t stand them up!

is the show sold out on the 30th? maybe you could go to will call and get yer tickets and sell em for face…or trade em for nye tickets…

hmm… do you think anybody would have any NYE tix to trade over at the venue the day before the big night?? that would be pretty sweet if it worked out.

I am down with an uprising. First Steffan Lessard, then the dudes who were fucking with Cletus, then Ticketdisaster.

They Fucked me over once as well. I ordered tickets to the trey show at the eagles club during his spirng tour, I get the ticket and it doens’t have a barcode so i get there really early, because i enjoy the front row, and wait at the door. When the Doors open and they tried to scan the ticket they couldn’t so they sent me to the box office and they said that i could get in they just had to tear it. Well, by the time that i am able to get back in the line i am nowhere near front row. It’s cool that i was able to get in, but i wasted 2 and a half hours of my life waiting and then they send me to the back.

ok… a more secret shame than any music that I might like… I used to work for ticketdisaster.

FunkyB- please don’t call the woman a bitch… honestly, she couldn’t help you. If you must curse someone over this, curse the people who designed the ticketing software. It’s ALWAYS best to go buy tickets in person at a ticketmaster outlet… Their online systems are flawed. I had trouble with my Trey tickets because of the online ticketing.

Maybe it’s because in the two years I worked for them, I heard every sort of customer demand you could possibly imagine, and I know this may sound harsh, but it’s kind of unreasonable to blame them for your mistake.

Trust me, everyone who works there hates the company as much as, if not more than, you do.

i almost think that I did order the tickets for NYE, but they confirmed the wrong ones. who even knows at this point. but i can probably just go down the night of 12/30 and get a trade or something, i hope.

sorry funkyb…i would try to hit up a bisco message board and see if anyone is looking for tix for 12-30…maybe you can ditch em and still get some nye tix…just a suggestion…good luck and i hope it works out for you

Look at it this way: Phish usually played their best shows of the NYE runs not on NYE itself. NYE95 and Cypress aside, of course.

That’s especially true of 1996.

Possibly the…dare I say…worst of all the NYE performances? Not worst…just blah. I didn’t really get into the first time I heard it, although I loved the “Disease” jam which certainly did some foreshadowing

it’s certainly not racist by any means, but i read somewhere (The Phish Book perhaps?) that it was interpreted that way and some coaxing had to be done before the choir would perform with Phish. I don’t get it either.
