Okay…this is really really tough…and I know as soon as I’m done, I’ll start kicking myself for not putting something else…but:

  1. Syd Barrett - One of the very very few solo performances.
  2. Grateful Dead - A 1965 Acid Test performance maybe the Graduation
  3. Sly and the Family Stone - 1969 if only for the Woodstock performance…but I’m sure there must have been some other great ones around that time.

Honestly though, right now, I just want to go back to '85 in Vermont and just see every single Phish show, and never look back.
