time machine...

  1. Blind Melon
  2. Miles circa 1964-65
  3. Grateful Dead circa 1972ish

The Who in the early 70’s!
Grateful Dead in late 70’s!
Harry Chapin in late 70’s!

Okay…this is really really tough…and I know as soon as I’m done, I’ll start kicking myself for not putting something else…but:

  1. Syd Barrett - One of the very very few solo performances.
  2. Grateful Dead - A 1965 Acid Test performance maybe the Graduation
  3. Sly and the Family Stone - 1969 if only for the Woodstock performance…but I’m sure there must have been some other great ones around that time.

Honestly though, right now, I just want to go back to '85 in Vermont and just see every single Phish show, and never look back.

  1. James Brown circa late 60s/early 70s
  2. grateful dead - europe 1972 tour
  3. allman brothers band - late 60s/early 70s

Hit me!

i think i may have to add Bob Marley and the Wailers to my list…

I would have definatley loved to see:
1- Grateful dead (any show from 77’)
2- The beatles
3- Pink Floyd (early 70’s)

The Beatles (before they came to America)
The Who (full lineup)
Led Zep (in their less drunk, early days)

  1. Bob Marley - He’s the Man with the plan
  2. Stevie Ray Vaughan - He’s God on the Guitar
  3. Elvis - He’s the king

WOODSTOCK '69

  4. Dead in 77.

Hmmm… I’d have to say

  1. Greatful Dead circa 77’
  2. John Coltrane
