The Who in the early 70’s!
Grateful Dead in late 70’s!
Harry Chapin in late 70’s!
Okay…this is really really tough…and I know as soon as I’m done, I’ll start kicking myself for not putting something else…but:
- Syd Barrett - One of the very very few solo performances.
- Grateful Dead - A 1965 Acid Test performance maybe the Graduation
- Sly and the Family Stone - 1969 if only for the Woodstock performance…but I’m sure there must have been some other great ones around that time.
Honestly though, right now, I just want to go back to '85 in Vermont and just see every single Phish show, and never look back.
- James Brown circa late 60s/early 70s
- grateful dead - europe 1972 tour
- allman brothers band - late 60s/early 70s
