You have to open the torrent file with a client, like uTorrent. Then it will start downloading for you.
i downloaded it completely and when i clicked to open it with itunes after downloading it off vuze, a torrent client site thingy, it wouldn’t work.
Were they in .mp3 or some other compatible format that iTunes will play?
I bought it…1.99 I think I feel good about paying for this
i thought so…i mean when i use vuze i just click download and hope for the best…

Just downloaded/listened to the orchestral version last night. It’s pretty sweet, IMO.
It’s neat to see the song in different contexts (Orchestral, solo acoustic, and with Phish)

phish(live)-not so much…i dont know i think it sounds better recorded than when they have played it live…but i do enjoy how they put this together and to see it go from a huge piece to a song on their first cd in forever
this song was a goddamn snoozefest at alpine until the big climax of the jam. that… that was spectacular.
I think the way the song drags makes the ending jam that much better.
And hey, (as I have heard someone put it) now you can take a piss AND grab a beer.

I listened to the Alpine TTE yesterday evening while hiking around a park / wetlands preserve near my house, and I have to admit that it’s started to grow on me a bit. I’m beginning to appreciate parts of the composition, at least, but still feel like Trey needs an editor to cut out some of the unnecessary (IMO) stuff and tie the good parts all together.
That said, I may get to a point where I appreciate or even love the whole song, eventually. At least I’m intrigued with it at this point, rather than just wrinkling my nose and walking away.
It seems unanimous that the song would be stronger with fewer lyrics. I personally really like the lyrics and the way they are sung up until the submarine. After that…not so sure. But the whole in and out of focus part is really nice. Gives me a Limb by Limb kinda feelin
