Trey sat in for two songs with the Vorcza Trio, which features Ray Paczkowski (also of Trey’s ‘solo’ outfit), Gabe Jarrett (one-time member of Jazz Mandolin Project), and Robinson Morse.
Trey then sat in for much of Orchestra Baobab’s headlining gig. This show marked the closing of Higher Ground.
Trey recently visited Orchestra Baobab in their native Senegal with Dave Matthews as part of filming for VH1’s “Inside Out” program. The episode will air on Saturday, May 8 at 10:00pm Eastern.

Show Notes: Both Forbin and Stash referenced the Los Angeles riots that ensued after the Rodney King verdict was announced. This incredibly fun Bowie included Fingerscrape, All Fall Down, Oom Pa Pa, Chaos, and Random Laugh Signals, as well as the return of the Crew Football Theme Song. During a hilarious Icculus, Trey extolled the virtues of the Helping Friendly Book and remarked jokingly that the Aquarium Rescue Unit “used to be a feeble bluegrass band until they read this great book!” Glide was a birthday dedication. BBFCFM featured some zany on-stage antics that found Trey on top of his stack and Mike singing from down on the floor. Bowie included “Wizard of Oz” theme teases and YEM included a strong Don’t Get Me Wrong tease.
