Anybody here into Tom Robbins?

I’ve read Jitterbug Perfume, Skinny Legs and All, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, Another Roadside Attraction, and I’m currently working on Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas. I think that Tom Robbins is one of the best authors I’ve ever read… great characters, wild storylines, and more than a hint of the psychadelic. At this point, I think that Another Roadside Attraction is my favorite, but they all rock. Anyone who hasn’t yet read any of his books should go pick one up pronto!

I’ve read Jitterbug Perfume, thought it was really good, but it wasn’t “can’t put it down until I’m done” good. I recommend Chuck Palahniuk. Yeah, he wrote ‘Fight Club’, but his other stuff is far better.

He wrote Naked too right? I’ve read that one and I loved it.

If you have not yet read Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climtates then I recommend checking that out next.

But they’re all fantastic…definitely.
