a lot of my phish discs are mp3s that I got, before I even knew what the difference was. no biggie for me, it sounds fine.
next time i find something awesome i just wont post it in fear of being ridiculed on this board…thanks alot guys

I’m not downloading a whole lot of shows anymore (not a lot of space/too lazy) but I stream a lot from phiSHows.com and the webmaster there thanks the spreadsheet people much better than I could:

I don’t hate MP3s…just when the recording is already made from a mic in some guy’s hat and there is audience noise…id rather have lossless audio, otherwise you can hear distinct digital noise

wow… never knew about this… tonight has been pretty exciting downloading so much good music. I can only download shows 91 or earlier though, because my computer can’t open .rar files, anyone know why this is?
I think actually I will take advantage of this. I don’t mind mp3s, and my show collection sure could use a boost. I’ll set a goal of downloading and listening to, say, 8 shows this weekend. One for every year from 1993-2000.
