New York, pssshhhh.

^ Yeah…why is the Rock and Roll HOF in Cleveland if all the major events occur in New York. Cleveland gets screwed again.

Awesome news about Trey inducting Genesis though. I know he really looked up to these guys in mid 70s.

That’s pretty awesome, but count me among the confused… Why would an induction ceremony take place hundreds of miles from the place they’re being inducted into?

it’s probably a lot easier to talk rock stars into making an appearance at the waldorf in manhattan than it is to get them to show up at a super 8 in cleveland…

Haha, I guess that makes a lot of sense…

Cleveland gets the ceremony once every four years or so.

We just don’t want to hurt “Super World Mega Power” New York City’s feelings.

I don’t really get the Cleveland/New York battle either . . . .

That’s really cool for Trey though

Hopefully they air the “jam session”

I’d like to see Trey play with them.

…Any word if Peter Gabriel will be there too?
I liked Genesis more with him.

Yeah,…Cleveland isn’t really a happening place. But hey,…they did start their river on fire.

I read Gabriel will not be there, he’s rehearsing a tour I guess.

The RRHoF’s a sad joke. Yes isn’t in. Rush isn’t in. KISS, I think, is still not in.

Run DMC, though, they’re in.

:open_mouth:

I love “King of Rock” as much as the next guy, but come on.

Glad to see Trey associated with progressive music though, that can only be a good thing IMO.

What shocks me is are they going to induct Genesis with both Peter Gabriel AND Phil Collins . . .

'Cause Genesis was kinda two different bands with each lead singer . . .

Oh well . . .

This will no doubt be most people attending’s bathroom break!

Hey yo!

do we really need to further encourage Phil Collins?

Yes, yes we do.

Peter is a dick… I read that he started the whole reunion tour back a few years ago, then backed out and left the band high and dry… Phil basically was po’ed at him too. Mike had some hard feelings toward many as well, odd group but common ordeal~

Also, I am sure if he (Peter) wanted to be there, he could. Let’s face it, this is a once in a lifetime ordeal, he has millions and could fly in and out in hours if he ‘wanted’ to be there…

Great that Trey gets to do this though!
