I live in the Atlantic City Area, and i know that the House of Blues is SMALL! If you are on the fence you should buy the ticket. We have cover bands that come to the HOB and sell it out, let alone Trey on New Years!
I don’t know where I read this on the Ohkeepa, but the crowd at a recent Trey crowd chanted for Reba!!??!! Man that is fucking ghey. I was just thinking about that today and had to bring it up. Either most everyone in the crowd were complete noobs without a clue, or they were all too wasted to realize how stupid they were being. If Trey played any of those more quintissential phish tunes with anybody but Mike, Page, and Fish I would be very disappointed in him. Expecting or hoping for him to play Reba is so stupid.

wow…ok, so i’ve been checking out the feasibility of going to these AC shows, and it is FUCKING EXPENSIVE to stay in AC on NYE.
god damnit…it seems like most casinos are already booked up and any rooms left are like a minimum of $500 per night, and even shitty ghetto-ass hotels are like $350 a night if they’re anywhere near the boardwalk (specifically the one i stayed in last year after GRaB’s Borgata show, the RHODEWAY INN, which was majorly ghetto-ass, was probably $50 when I stayed there, ont he 28th of Dec last year, but it’s $350 for NYE!!!).
Well fuck that, I might as well get a limo or something to take me to and from the show(s)
I am staying in a really nice Holiday Inn in Abescon (7.2 miles away) for the Trey NYE show and I paid a total of $362 for a 2 night stay.
If you have someone to split it with, it isn’t that bad, considering it IS on NYE.

Yea. Me and the missus were desperately searching for something within walking distance.
I was willing to splurge and get a really expensive room in a casino, but they were all sold out for that weekend.
In my search I kept getting a mile farther away from HOB and it was still ridiculously priced, so I figured, if I am going to take a cab ride anyway, might as well find a cheaper place relatively close.
Holiday Inn it was.

Yikes…it’s been so long I almost forgot what this place looked like.
The prices for the hotels are absurd but it was still cheaper than trying to escape the Northeast for a sunnier beachy climate. Plus, my new wife and I couldn’t resist two nights of Trey with horns in AC. (Well, I sort of convinced her)
Mike and the Duo was a blast last year. Here’s to hoping Trey will be feeling a little wistful for some NYE phun…someone has to be guesting at some point over those two nights, right?

and that’s pretty much how it went down with my girlfirend too…we were considering driving back and forth or getting cabs to and from a hotel out of town, but caved and got one on the boardwalk in the end. I plan on taking FULL advantage of the free drinks in the casinos to make up for the expense

That is how much I was charged but now they are $50 each on his website and $50 each through TicketBastard this weekend.

I think we’re in an EconoLodge or Best Western or something on Kentucky Ave… Not RIGHT on the boardwalk, but at least we can walk to the shows and back (through the ghetto!)

I wouldn’t worry about your tix if you booked em through the Trey site. I bet you just got in there earlier than the rest of us or something…definitely strange though, mine were $50…
Yeah it’s still saying 50, but i do remember the 35 price the first day it went up, i think that was their mistake, probably a copy paste type fuck up, but it was their fuck up so they shouldn’t be able to charge you the extra bit
