Nice, the Ryman. I may have to grab some tix for this.

Yeah, me too!

Time Turns Elastic??? Anyone know anything else about this?

^ You made that up!

What is it really?

Holy shit. This I’ve gotta hear.

:o :o

holy shit!

this sounds exactly like what Trey had been moving away from the last 5 years in his song-writing

wtf? interesting…

hell yeah this sounds so cool. i’m glad nashville’s only 3 hours away. the ryman’s pretty damn sweet too!

D Sky!
Yem!

Oh man, I have high hopes for this project, i really want to hear what this new Time Turns Elastic compositional work will sound like

The compositional works of Phish are so sublime, i really hope this project brings back that compositional aspect to Trey and that he runs with it to create some more epic tunes

oh my god i might have to freak out with anticipation. seriously, the idea that … that … ::freaks out with anticipation::

right, that is some exciting shit to mention this new project in the likes of d sky & yem

Isn’t “Time Turns Elastic” a lyric in a Phish or Trey song??

it sounds familiar but I can’t put my finger on it. Hey, there’s a ween lyric.

The Orchestra at Bonnaroo was fantastic.

figured with all that time to clean up he would write some compositional works again, get his chops back up to form, b/c lets face it his chops were not up to form for pretty much all of PH, there were some glimpses of machine gun Trey but more often than not his fucked up ness shown through and he flubb’d when it was time to hit a composed section of a song

How can I convince the wife that we should vacation in Nashville this year at the end of September?

Seriously, so many of Trey’s compositions are so ripe for orchestral translation. I hope he does it up right.

Well, I bought my tickets. I’m underneath the thingy, balcony. Its cool though because the sound is great everywhere in the Ryman and I’m thinking that this might be a sit down show. And I don’t think it’ll really be a bowl smoking show either, more of a smoke a couple bowls and then go in show.

Because your pal, Little, is gonna be there!

Yep, that’s right.

Just got my tickets too! Shitty seats (floor left row Y, also under the balcony), but whatev. When I saw Trey there in '05, I ended up 2 or 3 rows center.

Hell yeah I’m excited!

Starts countdown to September

We should have a beer UB. I turn 21 in 6 days, so I’ll be able to do it to it.

^Then My Friend, My Friend, we shall have drinks until that orchestra Fluffhead encore.

This, has got me SO EXCITED. When I got the email a while back, I creamed myself.

i have my ticket, I am ready to go, it sucks that I have to take a 10 hour long Greyhound ride to get there… Worth it? Only time will tell.
