They keep showing Sookie apologize in the preview. I honestly think she’s apologizing to Tara that Eggs was killed. That’s my big prediction that Eggs will be killed and obviously Maryann will become vulnerable and killed or at least leave Bon Temps when Sam offers himself.
It seems as if they are trying to act like Sam is going to die, but no way…he is way to big of a character.
I’d like to see at the end of the episdoe for Sookie to fall for Eric so we can get set up for the epic showdown that Bill and Eric should have in Season 3.

I don’t think it jumped the shark at all. I thought it was an epic finale! Totally set up for next season too. Jessica is turning into a bad little girl. Damn she’s a hot feisty one.
Sam is going to encounter his parents (who are evil? or weird?) Who knows?
Bill vs. The Queen and Eric should be epic!!!

I love how Vermont is the state to leagalize vampire/human marriage. Got a chuckle out of that.
I thought the season finale was good. They took care of the Maryann thing properly and then still had plenty of time to wrap it up and set up for next season, which already has a lot going on.
Pretty devastated about Eggs. I would like to see Tara catch a break. I think she won’t ever have anyone lasting because she and Jason will ultimately end up together, but who knows. I guess Andy was susceptible to Maryann’s powers after all. I wonder why he didn’t fall under the spell the first few times.
i’m actually kinda glad they did away with Eggs. i know, that’s mean. but he annoyed me. always cryin an shit. playin silly Sting songs on his blue acoustic. he couldn’t man up so they shot him through the head. which is only fair.
haha…I suppose it was humane. I did admit to myself right after it happened that there was no other way it could have gone with him. He was too far gone at that point. He would have been no addition to the show now anyway, since Maryann was really what was driving his character and made him interesting. It’s just that he was really cool to me when I took that trip down to Bon Temps…but that is for another thread.
I enjoyed the season finale. A very nice display of teamwork in Bon Temps.
And “Thank You” True Blood for not ending the season on a cliffhanger that would have me dying for the next year. Obviously Eric kidnapped Bill, and Bill is still alive for the moment. I can live with that.
can’t wait for next season, I have heard they are half done with the season already, hopefully sooner than later…
Anyone watching this season? It’s been pretty epic. I love the Eric/Russell storyline.
I could go without the typical Tara drama and Sam’s storyline has been pretty boring this season, but it’s still been pretty epic!

Oh yeah, its heating up. I think, when its all said and done, Eric is gonna be the king. Something about his actions lately PLUS the flashback where his dad says “Now you’re the king.” Wonderful foreshadowing. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I’ve only seen teh first 3 episodes of this season, butt I am followin’ it…I hate Tara butt Eric is growin’ on me. Love this show, and loooove Sookie.

According to a coworker the story gets pretty crazy with Jason and Chrystal…if anyone wants to know what she is, message me…I won’t be a spoiler on this thread. I am curious when this season ends. It seems that things will progress rapidly after last week, but they may spend an episode on one of the many subplots. I don’t trust that dude Jesus that’s macking on Lafayette…I’m pretty sure that dude’s up to something. My thought is that he works for Eric and is there to keep an eye on him.
^I agree on your comment about Jesus, that guy is a bit off. The scene where Eric protected the crown was great! It looked like the King noticed that move. The Eric-King showdown should be awesome!
I have a love-hate relationship with Tara. When she isn’t whining, she’s smokin hot. But she whines soooo often. With that said, I’ll take Jessica. Loved her showdown with the wolves!
I could have sworn I had posted in this thread during this season, but looking back I see I haven’t. I thought last season was really good, but this one has put it to shame. Almost every episode has been non-stop action packed. Alot of suspense, a lot of surprises. Just saw the most recent episode last night and it was pretty crazy! I would be absolutely shocked if they killed off Eric, but it’s not looking good. If the season finale stays on par with the fast and exciting course of this season, it should be kickass.
Best line of the season would have to go to Russell: “We will eat you after we eat your children. Now time for the weather…Tiffany?”
I also wanted to comment that I think the acting in this show is really top notch. It’s not something I considered before, maybe because the stories and characters are so over the top that you are solely focused on that. When I see the actors out of character I am usually taken aback by how far off they appear from who they portray. Jason (Ryan Kwanten) for example is this serious Austrailian actor, appears very intelligent in interviews, playing an idiot hick from Louisiana and nailing it!
