Cincy '09 shakedown didn’t seem too bad to me. It was a little crowded, though. I cherish the memory of my wife walking through shakedown just amazed at what was going on there. She’s definitely not a head, but she knows of the antics of shakedown, etc. She was by far the cleanest person in that parking garage, no doubt.
Cincy Shakedown was nothing to great IMHO… I think because of the location and the cement jungle it made me long for a big lot or a great nearby camp ground etc…
well that old familiar feeling of being nervous about obtaining enough Phish tix to do all the shows I want to do has entered my pysche again…
I’m not too nervous about Portsmouth for some reason, even though it’s a very small venue. With the large number of other east coast shows and it being on a Tuesday, I hope this show can go somewhat under the radar…
The Greek shows are the main ones I’m worried about…
The best part about that picture is seeing the calm, reserved crowd nicely spaced out behaving themselves…and then picturing the circus coming in and turning that place upside down! Should be a blast, wish I could go!
June is pretty far off still. Which is probably a good thing, giving more time to save some money. But I know as soon as it starts getting really hot out, the lack of Phish will start really getting to me. The announcement of the dates still has me pretty amped though.
I just realized that Portsmouth is very doable from my area (philly). Dagone it, Im gonna give it the ol’ college effort! Just hope my beat up Civic can make it there, Hershey, and MPP. That poor car has been nothing but good to me over the years and all that I continue to do is beat the hell out of it. How she made it to Hartford>MPP>Saratoga and back still amazes me. God bless that car’s little soul…
