Type Your Phish Thoughts

Phish are fun when they start to make music on the stage

Cincy '09 shakedown didn’t seem too bad to me. It was a little crowded, though. I cherish the memory of my wife walking through shakedown just amazed at what was going on there. She’s definitely not a head, but she knows of the antics of shakedown, etc. She was by far the cleanest person in that parking garage, no doubt.

i wish all shows were general admission.

I am extremely curious of what sort of direction the band will take this year. The possibilities are exciting.

^ Agreed. I also consider how it will be similar and how it will be different from last year.

I was thinking about this very same thing the other night.

I sort of wish I could do the very same thing over and over again. Go back to being naive and unexperienced.

But alas . . .

Cincy Shakedown was nothing to great IMHO… I think because of the location and the cement jungle it made me long for a big lot or a great nearby camp ground etc…

Has anybody else noticed that the synth part in Meatstick is almost exactlyl like the one in George Michael’s “I Want Your Sex”?

well that old familiar feeling of being nervous about obtaining enough Phish tix to do all the shows I want to do has entered my pysche again…

I’m not too nervous about Portsmouth for some reason, even though it’s a very small venue. With the large number of other east coast shows and it being on a Tuesday, I hope this show can go somewhat under the radar…

The Greek shows are the main ones I’m worried about…

I love observing the phanbase go nuts when tour’s goin on.

How small of a venue is Portsmouth? It’s like 30 minutes from my friend in Virginia Beach, I’m hoping to make it there.

Edit: Found this loverly picture - portsmouthva.gov/portspix/6/ … 29_RT8.jpg

Looks teeny weeny! How is that gonna work o_0
Yeah it fits 6,500. So few!! hamptonroads.com/2008/05/ntelos- … mpty-seats

I don’t ever remember Hank coming on here saying “I couldn’t get tickets” or “I wish I had made that show.”

He always finds a way, and I admire that about him.

trumpets sound

Hank!

 The best part about that picture is seeing the calm, reserved crowd nicely spaced out behaving themselves…and then picturing the circus coming in and turning that place upside down! Should be a blast, wish I could go!

^ Srsly. I just hope no one falls off the back into the water!

June is pretty far off still. Which is probably a good thing, giving more time to save some money. But I know as soon as it starts getting really hot out, the lack of Phish will start really getting to me. The announcement of the dates still has me pretty amped though.

I wish I could go back to when my ex-girlfriend and I were 18, making out to Squirming Coil in my bedroom…

I just realized that Portsmouth is very doable from my area (philly). Dagone it, Im gonna give it the ol’ college effort! Just hope my beat up Civic can make it there, Hershey, and MPP. That poor car has been nothing but good to me over the years and all that I continue to do is beat the hell out of it. How she made it to Hartford>MPP>Saratoga and back still amazes me. God bless that car’s little soul…

2010 is gonna be big folks, real big… :shh:

Honda’s were built for tour

Amen! I put nearly 10,000 miles on my '96 Civic last summer and she is still doing fine.
