if someone came into the room I’m doing work in right now, and heard the HYHU > Love you > HYHU playing, they would probably think I’m crazy.
I was just watching the second set from the Alpine Valley DVD and had one of those “majestic Phish listening sessions” that I’m sure we’ve all had at one time or the other. You know, paying attention to anything else, just captivated by the music. I was thinking about making a really detailed post attempting to describe what that feels like. But the truth is, there really is no way to describe it. And I’m not sure how many music fans get to appreciate something that meaningful and downright awesome.
^happens to me all the time mainly when I’m either watching them play live or a video…tape/sbd recordings don’t do it for me as often as they used to…

Cool. I hear where you’re coming from. I came in here to post about another intangible. Yesterday was filled with Phishy coincidences. Like driving past Wilson street as the Wilson jam started up in the Guyutica Bowie, walking into the door the moment the scary part of MFMF kicks in after the intro. I hope at least you guys get this.
^Ha!! I love these occurances. I was watching TV the other day and listening to a fall 2010 2001 at the same time and a mop commercial came on playing it as well!

I love this one all the more because, while I’d heard of the “Orpheum Bowie,” I didn’t put it together that that was what I was listening to until afterwards. I just kept thinking, “Hey this is really good. Wait, it’s still going? Holy shit!” By the time they come crashing double-time into the ending I was practically bouncing off the walls.
I think this’ll demand a relisten shortly.
I almost forgot how absolutely nasty 11-21-2009 Cincy set 2 was…I haven’t listened in a while and I am really loving it…The Rock and Roll>Cincy Jam>Ghost is soooooo MONEY! 
It’s been awhile since I listened back to that one. I’ll go back and listen tonight.
Both of those shows were a total blast.
I love The Crown and Cinci. I’m really hoping they go back this year as I missed the 09 shows!
I would love to return to Cincy as well.
