There was word about them being sick at Bonnaroo?

:lolno:

to a bunch of teenagers who have never witnessed the greatness of CK5 and a, I believe, the occurrence of a YEM>Wilson>YEM, not everybody has been introduced by way of every show since 1986  …I actually talked to someone the other day who saw them at bonnaroo and said it changed the way they listened to music

… and it is 1984.

^ I get it mixed up with another band that started around that time…a more southern based band

^REM? :eh:

^It was probably some spun out wook. i would have done the same thing!

Probably just me, but I’d take that over an autograph any day…if only for the story to tell

There are less than 60 days remaining until I will be seeing Phish again. That rocks.

Not quite as much as actually seeing Phish, but still rocking nonetheless.

Okay. I’ve decided to go until tour without listening to the Phish. I can do this. I know I can do this. It will be worth it in the end. Wish me luck guys.

I don’t get it. Why would you do this?

I’ve scaled back my listening quite a bit in the past few weeks and will keep it that way for awhile. Going into a new tour burned out on listening to Phish is no good.

 It only takes me about an hour or two of listening to music other than Phish before I’m “un burned out”.

^Yeah. I basicly only listen to Phish when I am at the computer (only chance for tunes). Otherwise it’s talk radio in the car. I can see where the scaling back right before tour is a good idea…or to boycott the absense of leg 2 dates!

::contemplates if he’s the crazy one::

^Ok…now I am cleaning the back room blasting Hampton Comes Alive Roggae…nevermind—listen to more Phish!

I have never expereinced this type of musical burnout.

I rarely ever listen to anything other than Phish or some form of Jerry Garcia music. Maybe 60% Jerry, 39% Phish and 1% anything else. And that 1% rarely makes it very long without getting switched over to Phish or Jerry. I don’t think its possible for me to get burnt out on either one.

I did do the talk radio thing in the car for a year or so. But I realized it was making me less informed and more opinionated (with other people’s opinions), so now its all music all the time.
