Type Your Phish Thoughts

I don’t think I have ever had a phish dream. Which kind of sucks. But I did have a dream last night where I was outside running home cause a big storm was brewing, and a cop stopped me cause he thought we were running away from him and found a piece in my backpack. I was livid cause in the dream I knew someone had framed me.

hell, I listen to 2/28/03 at least four times a year, and the bonus disk from the Brooklyn shows at least as many times as well.

Let me know what your first impression is when you first see it from afar. I haven’t talked about mine much because it makes me feel kind of lame, even in front of folks in here. I couldn’t show my reaction to the people I was with at the time because they were all non-believers, so I’ve kept my awe to myself.

2.0 that i still listen to:

Feb and Summer of 2003 were awesome.

Don’t feel lame. I felt like I had stumbled upon a piece of history. The missing piece. The piece that connects all of us together.

I had been walking for awhile. It’s just one of those beautiful things in life when you first see it and you’re overcome with all those emotions. I thought about Trey. Trey and Tom Marshall. They’re friendship. The love of a song. I think its funny that we make it sound so magical, when really it was their hiding place. Their place of solitude for music and. . .well . . .other things :sunglasses:

In that moment I just felt so priviledged to be an onlooker to one of those most important, if not the most important spot in Phishtory!

you went to Jersey? why would you not pick me up on the way! lol.

This is really cool. Never had my picture in the newspaper before. Not sure why this was just put in the Asheville Citizen-Times recently, but my picture is in there. Here’s the picture:

I’m in the very foreground, front right. My brother (Highway_Bill) is to the left and behind me with the hat, long hair, and Jerry Garcia shirt. My friend Matthew (lowspark) is behind him to the right with the red Phish logo shirt and the long black hair. As you can see, everyone is grinning quite wide!

Here’s the link to the picture gallery it was in. It’s picture number 8.

I just think this shit is so cool, and it’s awesome that the look on my face was immortalized in the newspaper. I will print this picture off and keep it forever, it really makes me happy.

There’s nothing in this world that can get me feeling as giddy as I get walking into a Phish show.

+1

 That’s awesome! I’ll never forget that day. Waiting in line all afternoon for the perfect spot at our first Phish show…

There definitely is no feeling quite like going in to a Phish show

I was listening to the 11.28.98 Weekapaug with my friends and they were like wow this is really fast is this the cocaine version? And then I said ooooh just wait till the end. Then they kicked it into quadruple time or and our heads exploded.
