Thanks chief.
::sympathizes as tourist season fades in and Jawbone leaves town just in time::
::Decides to never again go to Florida because locals like Brady will be all annoyed::
^You have a sweet MA…
just regular visitors are cool.
its them damn snowbirds that both help the economy but make the traffic problems and lack of sanity/patience down here even worse.
ya’ll can still come down though.
It’s a sad sad day in the world of my iPod…
It got ran over by a truck today.
Good news is I’m pretty sure the HD is still in good condition. It still plays and everything, I just need a new screen I think. I can’t believe how well it stood up to a Ford Superduty 250, club cab. I’m extremely impressed at how well it did.

first of all…WOW man to that ^^^ that’s just sad and both impressive and a pain in the ass…my condolences to your pod dude. Not cool …
Secondly, I just got done watcing Almost Famous…what I wouldn’t have given to have grown up in that era when music was so good, and meant so much to so many people. I feel as thought I was was born a few decades too late… and it’s funny I get a lot of people who say that after they’ve known me for awhile… esp. people who grew up back then… I guess they’re shocked to see someone my age with such appreciation for the music and the era. I listen to the radio, and I wonder to myself "where are all the Neil Youngs, David Bowies, Elton Johns, Led Zeppelins of our time? What happened to music that really gave you such a great vibe that it could carry you allthe way through a day with a smile on your face? I can turn on Tangerine by LD right now and it will just evoke a certain feeling every time… I can turn on Every Picture Tells A Story and instantly feel lifted… but no current song I’ve heard does the same thing. I wonder why that is? I wonder if, in 30 years people will find some type of meaning in the music that is out today, the way I’ve found meaning in the music of past generations… I can’t imagine they will, and where from they will get it, but who knows…

Wow. Today marks the exact 3-year anniversary of my first day of the job I have now. The first “job” I got out of college, I should say.
I remember it like it was yesterday. Man how things have changed!
Today is my two year anniversary on the OKP. Two fricken years with you folks! Never thought I’d ever have THAT much to write about.
Thanks for a great time, and I really mean that.
Wish I could be online at 11:02 my OKP registration time, but I’m off to northern NJ in a few minutes for a meeting and won’t be back until early afternoon. Have a good day, my friends, and say a prayer for those poor folks in Minneapolis.

just got back from MV, was on the island for 10 days. ran into some good tabs, ended up chilling with randoms and dropping in at 2am…tried to go back to the cottage where the 'rents were, but that didn’t last too long. quick decision: go to the beach and watch the sunset. good choice, perfect way to start the day. was it the L or at sunrise do you tend to see a lot of shooting stars? i caught my fair share, that’s for sure.
ended up having to meet up w/ the GF: 2:15PM at the docks. damn, 9 hours is a lot to kill whilst dosing, let me tell you whaaaaaaat
what follows are hazy events of a wierd morning:
5:15 am- put on 7/15/03 II, Mr. Completely rocked my face -> Low Rider > Big Black Furry Creature From Mars> Buried Alive -> BBFCFM > Ha Ha Ha > BBFCFM> Mr. Completely melted it right off
6am- decide to drive around and look for some smokes, best bet is the Jim’s Package Store, which is gas/smokes/booze all in one! perfect, except that they opened at 8…bummer
8am- lots of crazy tunes for the last 2 hours, back to Jim’s to get smokes and two 22’s of Sierra Nevada.
10am- at the beach, just finished the first sierra…lifeguards doing their daily swim 2 miles/run 2 miles routine…i’m lucky i didn’t try to join them…the surf was pretty good
1145am- just picked up 2 slices of Gio’s pizza, first eats since 5am. good stuff
1245pm- walk into the Sand Bar and grab another Sierra. Girl calls from across the bar, noting my heady Phish shirt, says she’s from Burlington, cool beans. Turns out we met the night before, both wiznasted, ha
2:15pm- meet the GF at the boat and continue to get obliterated for the rest of the day, sex on the beach @ 7pm, more tomfoolery to follow
wow do i need to move there…
