Part of me has thought this for a couple years. I’m actually paying attention to the news now to see how this all plays out. I want to believe that Bin Laden’s death will curb U.S. efforts in the War on Terror but I think that’s way too optimistic.
Thank you! I feel the same way. I type this as we’re about to hear from our blushing leader President Obama in this Medal of Honor Ceremony that was pre-scheduled before the announcement was even made. I guess they could have for the media’s sake, but

Honestly, America has only rid themselves of ONE leader. We haven’t even come CLOSE to the thousands of followers in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran. So scary . . .

Sadly, they have nukes so we can’t just go barging in there like we did with Afghanistan. Living proof that getting nukes DOES work as deterence…but it’s just deterence from the US bugging you, that’s all.
And what’s the big deal about killing the guy anyway…we all know Saddam was behind 9/11 and he’s dead already. Why kill another guy for it?

And I’d be surprised that they didn’t take at least a few photos of the guy. Remember when they blew up Saddam’s two sons?..they actually had those bodies stitched up and repaired JUST so they could take photos and prove it was them. If this IS legit, they’ll have photos. If not…well…
Still, I’m always surprised at the cheering over this kind of stuff. It’s some dude getting killed and it won’t change what he did. I’m actually shocked we were even still looking for him…we knew he was in Pakistan the entire time and the Pakistani government didn’t care about helping us…that was established long ago.

Yeah its pretty sick to be honest. I know a lot of people hated him, and he wasn’t what we would consider a good person, but at the same time we are celebrating someone dieing. People never cease to amaze me.
As for the pictures, they probably won’t show them just for the simple fact that millions of people are going to be extremely pissed and upset at seeing those. Not saying they already aren’t, but the last thing that they need to do is make it worse by showing those. Pretty sure its legit because like you said, they wouldn’t announce that just to have bin laden make a video tomorrow saying that they were lying.

I wouldn’t say it’s wrong since people feel the way they feel, I just don’t prescribe to it. People deal with loss in different ways and sometimes a healthy case of anger to the guilty party is one way to deal with it. Humans are strange creatures.
Don’t worry–it’s ok to be happy this guy is dead. It is a VERY NATURAL feeling to feel happy when you feel safe.
Today, I feel a whole hell of a lot safer–not completely, but we are getting somewhere. President Clinton and President Bush spearheaded fine efforts to get this scumbag and THANK GOD Obama never pulled out of the Middle East.

Man, exam time at a university or college is quite a thing to behold. I was at the library studying all night, and I was offered free Adderall THREE separate times. Kinda cool actually, everyone’s trying to make sure everyone else passes their finals and shit. I can’t say I declined, as you may be able to tell from the fact that I am sitting here typing this right now. In fact, I’m still finishing up the last bits of my presentation I’ve been working on. It was assigned like three months ago, and it’s due tomorrow, and I just started it tonight. I seem to have a habit of kicking myself in the ass. 
The house next to me that was raided last week, had an 8LB delivery that the po-po intercepted at the USPS… Idiots, they got nailed! LMAO
