Type your thoughts (Part 1)

I don’t care about El Bastarde’s quotes or lack / too many thereof

Spent 3 hours at The Springs Spa with the Talking Heads cover band that came and stayed with us yesterday…Got sunburned but feel like a Million $$$$ afterwards…

Spring Break was pretty wild last week, had some major fun, the 2nd Phase of Schools are about to be out this week, so more ragetime will insue!!!

Livin’ the dream out here…

I pooped today.

^And thats a good thing…

I’d like to stay there for a bit. Wonder if I could sell Marie on the idea of a Colorado vacation. Hmmmmm.

^She would love it!!!

Get out here Fone, it’s paradise on earth out here in PAgosa!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

^I know she would. And I would parlay a stay there with a stay in Sedona AZ, another spot I’ve been wanting to visit for a while now.

But last night two of the kids were over for dinner, and they’re trying to talk us into a family vacation to Disney in October. Marie is leaning toward that at the moment while the gkids are still young enough to share those moments with us. I kind of agree, but still yearn for a trip out west. I also offered her a trip to Hawaii, a place she’s talked about visiting for years, but she keeps coming back to this Disney thing, so I don’t think there’s a Pagosa trip in the wings for us quite yet.

^DisneyLAND is out west.

Working out is GREAT, but I am still sore… Back at it today!

I had a great workout on Tuesday night but it was the TMBG show. My ankles were sore for a bit.

I’m thinkin it’s not every day your fuckin’ wheel is off.

There I am driving along, then car goes warbly for a few seconds, then bam, rear passenger wheel is off rolling up a hill, I can see it thru the passenger window as I somehow slow to a careful stop on the side of RI 102. I felt it was the right thing to do given the circumstance. I thought, “Ah! I know: I’ll stop.”

AAA has really come in handy for this guy, tell you what. I trust that the car is currently at my mechanic’s and that he will not dispute my assertion that that wheel should be on the car, and not off of it.

Anyway, me and the wife went for sushi to celebrate.

^I had a tire explode one time when I was driving around 70 mph on the highway. Thankfully I happened to be in the right lane when it happened so I could just pull over. The car got wobbly for a bit as I wondered if I hit a rough stretch and then a loud bang and then I could see tire chunks behind me through the rear mirrors.

Such fun. I’ve had a load of adventures with cars breaking down. Even had to hitch-hike one time when my transmission blew around 5am.

My only thoughts at this present moment are…

a) What an anthem!

Damn, you’re right. I swear, every frickin anthem on the planet is better than the Star Spangled Banner…it pisses me off since God Bless America is so badass.

b) Amy MacDonald is hot.

More of a “Scottish hot” or perhaps a “cute.” But, then again, when she’s singing THAT song, the hot factor goes up by many degrees.

So ready to get the fuck out of the south. It kills me to say that because i love my home and so many things about it but the things i despise are more and more clearly outweighing the things i love.

Hmm, I like carrots… Eating “healthier” is good, I guess…

Where ya headed?

I’m thinking New Orleans, or CO. I know very different places lol, but i have lots of friends in both and they both seem like a cool place to live. Will be a while before i can go anything but i’m definitely gettin outta here. I’m fed up with the south east at this point in my life.

yo forgot to keep coming back!

Coloring comic strips now for a syndicate that gets distributed to newspaper all over the place. I pretty much just color like a coloring book all day only on a tablet. Prettttty mellllow!

How you livin’!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Wow, happy to hear that you’'re safe. That’s truly one of my top driving fears. How fast were you driving?

^Thanks! It’s one of my top fears too! Feels good to have gone through it so smoothly.

I was going about 50 or 55 I’m guessing, based on what I’m usually going on that road. There was somebody behind me, but luckily not close.

My brake pedal went way down to the floor, but still worked enough to stop the car I think. Not sure if the ebrake came into play, or if I downshifted at all, I just know that it was mostly a matter of simply pulling over and stopping.

Found my wheel quickly enough and my mechanic repaired it next day, no charge … long story on that (‘I was right’ is the gist of that longer story), but I was back in business the following evening.
