i broke my favorite wine glass. just the stem of it actually.

now i have to go back to the restaurant i stole it from.

when i originally stole it i was with my gorlfriend and her friend…when it came time to leave i stuck mine up my shirt and they did the same.

so we stole 3 total.

the last time i went there i requested those specific wine glasses cuz i like them so much…the waitress came back and said “we only have one left…we used to have four but i dont know where the others are.”

so this is gonna be tricky…request the glass…drink out of it…steal it…then never return.

or find out who makes the wine glasses and buy a bunch so the problem is nipped in the bud

Just returned from picking up tickets and food vouchers for this minor league baseball game outing I’ve been running for work, and found out that in August, this park will host Counting Crows in concert with Collective Soul opening for them for 49 bucks GA.

I’m kind of interested since CC first album was kind of important to me. But has anyone seen them lately? And what about Collective Soul? What kind of show would this be? It would be a real easy show for us to attend since the park is about five minutes from my house.

Any opinions?

We have a lilac bush and it’s great. It’s getting rather large too, my mother planted it when they first built our house. My mother cut some the other day and they smell oh so niiiice.

^The lilacs that Marie had me plant a few years back finished blooming about a week ago. She loves them, but quite frankly, they give me a headache, especially if I get too close for too long a period. She has this one plant called a French lilac which is so fragrant it almost stinks like a skunk when you get close to it.

Yesterday apparently A-Rod said “mine” while rounding third while the shortstop and 3rd baseman were trying to field a pop fly. Of course, it confused them and they couldn’t field it.

I have absolutely no problems with this, even though I’m not a baseball or Yankees fan.

Yes it was. Listened to it for hours on end because it helped me get through some depressed feelings when our youngest daughter moved out of the house and in with a guy I knew to be a first class creepoid.

I was so unhappy and so helpless to do anything to “protect” her from shit that he eventually pulled on her. Dunitz emotions in that album just seemed to be the company that I needed to get through it all.

I think I’d see this show just to close the loop on that aspect of the memory since Liz actually did meet a good guy who treats her well and with whom she has three great kids.

Today (and tomorrow, I think) marks the 2-year anniversary of some important members joining. I think that’s when we had a huge influx of joinings, after that phish.net message.

Congrats on a fine 2 years to a lot of you! (minus ICC and Clete, they were here from the beginning).
