Wahooooo!!! I’m gettin all my shit together to peace out for WAKARUSA tommorrow!!

However I’m starting to get little waves of paranoia since my minor infraction with law last summer. And it also looks like i’m gonna have to check my backpack since my Heady Deet is in a bottle over 3 oz.

BUt I’m still smilin knowin that tommorrow night the first Ragefest of the Summer will begin!! For the most part I’ll be wanderin around solo, but I’ll be at base camp with Vern and whoever else.

WAKA WAKA WAKA!!! Hopefully I’ll come out of this alive, but I plan to rage it M.Nonna style, the only way to do it.

Talked with my wife last night about the wonders that is The Phish, and she admitted to me (although she’s not all that happy about it) that she is starting to come around to liking them more and more. She even went so far as to ask me to make her a “compliation” disc of the songs that she likes.
So far I have:
-Fee
-Contact
-Bouncin’…
-If I Could
-Sample…
-Waste
-Drifting
-Strange Design

So far that’s it. I see a pattern here, but it’s all good. As long as there is something there for her to sink her teeth into, I’m happy. Hell, I remember that Bouncin’ and Fee were the two songs that peaked my interest in the band. And now, here I am. So we all gotta start somewhere, right.
What else do you think I should add to it? Keep in mind that she tends to think that most of their stuff is too “Chaotic” and crazy. I was thinking that I might add some “Wedge” and “Horse/Silent” and end with some “Tweeprise”. I know that she also likes the “Reba” jam from 9/18/01 (LP 6) and the “Mike’s” from NYE '95. So I’m thinking I’ll add those.

My wife fell for Divided Sky first and only for the longest time. Anytime I played a show or an album, she would make me put the DS from Junta on as well.

I hate going to the laundromat. I can never sit there and just wait for my stuff to wash or dry. I always end up leaving and doing something else. I mean, what are the odds someone steals my clothes, right? RIGHT?

I used to. That’s how I read most of “A Long Strange Trip.” But I found myself distracted with all the talking and commotion. I’ll probably just go for a walk or run to the grocery store real quick.
