damn.
and that happened in Britain?
nobody could have stopped it?
what the fuck?
It’s like dowry murders in India. The authorities just look the other way.
Example: Gasoline being dumped onto wife/fiance and lit. They just say it was a kitchen fire or something and get away with it, all because she couldn’t pay her husband a fortune.
all i know is i better get my fortune when i get married.
That’s funny right there ICC … I can totally picture it. It’s one o’ them rude schticks, but you can’t help but laugh anyway.
And yeah, I think you’re onto something with “What a fucked up world. ~ I think it might be beyond saving.” I often wonder if humanity is doomed for certain.
Welp. Back to work.

so, i just realized that its been approximately 4 months since i’ve been outside of Florida. That’s a long fucking time. I was almost across the state line at Wanee Fest and when i went to Tallahassee afterwards since that’s near the top but i was still in Florida. This is probably the longest period of time i’ve been in one state without leaving in a few years.
but i’ll be in Georgia tomorrow! Stone Mountain, full with Sweet Waters and tents and all stuff and the next day i’m in good ole Tennessee!
Bonn-uh-roooooooooooo!
Keep it real OKP!
-Is it me or do I understand the ending to Sopranos more than most Sopranos fans despite the fact that I’ve never seen the show once.
-My cat is an African American. It’s true.
-Can politicians PLEASE stop calling us “the American people”? It’s annoying. We’re just “Americans.”
-Anyone notice that Michael Jordan, Dwayne Wade, and LeBron James don’t play basketball? No, according to them, they play “the game of basketball.” It’s weird.
-Who here thinks that Paris won’t serve more than 20 days?
Yes, ok, no- they won’t, yes, yes- “It’s not fair that I have to abide by rules and laws, can’t my family just bail me out?! I mean, c’mon, I’m only 26, how can I be expected to be able to care for myself?”
This is awesome! Ben Harper just performed the national anthem at the Cavs/Spurs game instrumentally! Nice. I saw Walton in the background clapping and smiling.
^YES!
It takes a certain perspective to enjoy that movie…one that can be attained only one way.
^indeed…through watching it.
Sheep don’t appreciate the Good Doctor.
^Hey Once, did you see where the Fluffy one has decided to attend UVM in September. You guys should connect so you can show him around Burlington.
Speaking of being out-of-town, I’ll need to connect with gamecat, grabs and ghost in September. Just made reservations for four nights at a Hilton on Maple St. in Evanston IL to attend the wedding of a good friend’s Phish loving son.
I know Matt would probably love to have some Phish music played at his reception, but when I threw the idea of swing dancing to a version of Julius to his parents, his mother got kind of adament about not wanting it (although I’m sure she was joking because she knows there’s no way she could or would deny him anything on his wedding day). I need to get in touch with his younger brother who is also a phan, to see if we can’t manage to make this happen.
Can’t wait. This will be our first trip to Chicago and environs. Will need a list of things not to miss from the OKP residents.

me belly full but me hungry.
A hungry mob is an angry mob.
youre gonna dance to jah music…dance.
I think you should all download this.
