Tom Marshall has always been an excellent link between the band and fans. He has keen insight into both sides. Love this podcast. I caught up on a bunch driving back and forth from MSG last week, but way behind.
Stopped listening after it started feeling a bit stale. Any input on the best episodes after Trey’s interview?
Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that! I remember that either Thom, Neil, or you said he hurt someone (and probably himself) pretty badly when he did that. Did we ever get the story from the horse’s mouth?
^Wasn’t he just wasted on something? I vaguely remember that story.
He landed on a girl who was pretty seriously hurt. He didn’t want to talk about it too much on the podcast, but he did mention he paid for quite a bit of the medical expenses.

Season 2 has started, and I enjoyed the episode. Interesting tales of “getting in with the band” during the early 90s.
I’ve been meaning to catch up on more of these but they always seem to fall to the wayside. Gotta get back on board.

I had never listened to any of this before…or any other podcast type thing…ever. I enjoyed it. Tom Marshall reveals what S.A.N.T.O.S. stands for. He actually heard it from the band and they were actually not fucking around. (So they all say…) He mentions the best guess he had heard: Some Acronyms Neglect To Offer Substance. That seems like just the thing Phish would come up with. It’s actually Subterranean Arctic Neuro Technology Station.
