They guy next to me at Hampton knew the lyrics better than Trey did. So it was very clear to me through a 3rd party. I like the studio version better currently. By Alpine I’m sure it’ll be tits though.

besides the lyrical flubs, the hampton version is awesome, imo. very refreshing to hear them something different with a newer tune. to me that’s a sign that they care enough and are puttin in the time to dissect songs from PH, giving them life in a live setting… improving upon the studio version in this case, i love how funky it is and i think it’ll be a great groove vehicle this summer. look for some smokin jams to come out of it, at least i hope that’s where they take it…
He seemed like the happiest kid at the concert that moment. I can’t shoosh pure joy. It was dipshits going off during the “chill part of Reba” that made me snap. This guy was so mad because I was waving my hand for him to be quiet everytime he wanted to yell at me because I told him to be quiet in the first place. Entertainment value 3. Because it was during Reba. Entertainment value 0.05.
That is a shame, that Reba is a GEM I think.

I really like the lyrics to this song. Especially nice work by Page on the Clav on the 3/8/2009 version. Fishman’s little drum fills are pretty sweet too, in my opinion.

6/10’s Undermind has a totally different flavor than Hampton’s. Page is using more hammond organ than clavs. It’s a great version, but not as funky to me.
i completely hated this song studio version and then at hampton when they came out and played it…they completely shocked me…it is a great live song and i cant wait to hear it live in person

The Undermind at CCCC was by far the best one of '09, in my humble opinion. I can’t sing its praises enough. It rules. Matter of fact, a good 75% of that show in Portland, ME ruled.
the Knoxville undermind is dirty nasty funk. At around the 6 min mark gordo kicks on the fuzz and rips it UP!
