On the subject of album covers, I was watching the Ringo Starr special on HBO lastnight and he was talking about the Abbey Road album cover. He said they had all these big ideas about where to shoot the cover, far off places, or whacky ideas and in the end they said “forget it, let’s just walk across the street”. He seemed to be pretty amused at the inferences people made about it when all they did was take a walk.
I keep thinking about SNL Jeopardy when Connery asked for Anal bum cover instead of an album cover! ha
