Pick your poison, I’m kinda a Smirnoff/Stoli guy in mixed drinks and a Ketel/Chopin guy for martinis, Disuss!
I like Skyy.
I’ve recently been into citrus Skyy with a splash of Fresca. Good stuff. But if I’m going the cheap route then blue Skoll.
My cheap route lately has been Svedka, they actualyyy make a pretty servicable Clementine Vodka on the cheap and handles are only 18$
I picked Stoli, but I’m talkin’ Stoli Elite. This is a VERY expensive bottle, one that you buy when you want to spoil yourself. BUT IT IS THE BEST VODKA EVER!!!
Vodka is my number one drink, and I’ve tried all kinds, but this is the bees knees.
^And I totally agree with you about Svedka, I buy it at Sams Club whenever I go to Chi-town and it is the best bang for the buck.
Smirnoff is a fine drink for mixed drinks, but don’t you DARE throw any kind of mix in my Elite or anything like Goose, Belvadere, Chopin, Kettle, etc., that is a SIN!
There’s a Green Mountain Sunshine Vodka that you can get up here, it’s quadruple distilled! It’s quite good. I mean, distilled 4 times! But for the sake of the poll went with Stoliyichnakyavabrhava.
Actually, yesterday while playing golf I discovered a full flask of vodka in my bag. So I dumped it in my gatorade bottle and it was great!
You know you drink a lot when you find a flask in your golf bag and don’t think twice about it.
i voted for the 6 bucks a litre and i’ll take it. im not a huge vodka fan, but i love the occasional screwdriver. all vodka tastes nearly the same for me, so i’ll stick with my Maker’s Mark
Troika is one of the cheapest you can get here, so it is always a favorite in my household. Other than that I’ll pick a Silent Sam or Smirnoff as a last resort, but usually Troika. You know it’s good because it comes in a plastic bottle.

did anyone ever see that blind vodka taste test NBC or one of those dateline shows did a few years ago? they had all these supposed big vodka drinkers try and pick their favorite brand. Nearly all of them preferred grey goose, and during the taste test they all blindly picked smirnoff as the best after repeated tests. They ended up putting grey goose near their least favorite during the experiment. really interesting.
I did see that. There must be a reason why Smirnoff is the biggest I guess.
smirnoff is great…i prefer it over most of those.
I’ve been into Grey Goose lately, but I’m definitely anxious to try the ones youse guys have recommended above.
Maybe I’ll have to organize a blind taste test on Father’s Day with my son-in-laws between Soyuz-Victan and Stoli Elite. I’m sure they’d appreciate it. I know I will.

my uncle drinks vodka all day long in a water bottle. My mother used to drink a whole bottle every night.
vodka makes people really bitter and crabby with the world and all that happens is the person goes to the dark side for an hour or so and passes out.

Jeez man…I can see why you’d say fuck vodka. But you must realize that if you drink anything all day long, or a whole bottle of anything every night, you’re not going to be a better person for it. I think Whiskey is way more the devils drink from my personal experiences, but to each their own.
i don’t like liquor in general. I like beer and wine.
but when i do drink liqour…i drink whiskey…in a good situation…in the middle of nowhere
I like to stick to the real cheap stuff like McKormick’s and Karkov (South Dakota’s Finest). Once I got a bottle of Grey Goose and didn’t think it was anything too great.
