I miss teh Waka.
I had a blast. Ended up in the Equinox campground, which was great because we had a short walk to the stages. My favorite act was definately Lotus, and getting to see over 3 hours of them on Saturday was a highlight. Yonder was lots of fun, but we slept through their set on Saturday, but that allowed us to catch more Lotus. Panic was a blast, as was Claypool even though he played for less then an hour. There is really too much else to mention so I’ll just say it was a freaking blast.
Wakarusa kicked ass this year! I had a great time. I’ll write my highlights when I get my face back.

Wow, you know, I just realized that Waka has already happened. hmm.
it happened and wowza, what a blast! The music was superior. Highlights for me include Galactic, YMSB, Claypool, WSP, Grace on Sunday, BassmothafuckinNectar, and Mofro… Alot of other good good stuff but those are the ones that come to mind… Getting shook down on the way into TLG light night set sucked. Lost 100 bucks worth of medicine to the college aged security but oh well… Karma works in mysterious ways so yeah. Wakarusa was an absolute fucking riot! Can’t let getting shook down ruin a weekend. There’s always more where it came from. Hopefully someday Wakarusa will be on private land.
