I may be there. I was almost there last year. I dunno. I’m shooting for a festival tour this summer. I’ll just have to wait and see the other lineups, but it is hard to beat two nights of panic. They’re doing a lot of 2-nighters this year. 2 nights at the TN Theatre!!!

In the festivals defense, two years the security was EXTRA BREEZY.
They were unbelievable.
Same group of people though, but no cops.
Larryville (Lawrence) is really progressive, and is NOTHING like the rest of Kansas. I’ve been there quite a few times now and have friends there. Hung with like minded folks who were way cool. Got pulled over by a Lawrence cop fro speeding, and he was super cool…and even got directions to William S. Burroughs old house from him! Visited STULL cemetary, one of the 8 gateways to Hell (according to legend). It’s a super cool place with friendly people. The rest of kansas is kind of a conservative drag…
