I am actually embarrassed and saddened that I missed both Pnuma as well as Lotus. Lotus was too late for me. I got wasted too early and ended up missing anything after 3 am.
Although I did catch the late night Brothers Past set which rocked my fvcking world…I am now a BIG fan of BP. They bring the progressive psychedelic funk fer sure…

The Waka board is full of horror stories and bummer threads now. Kinda sad, really. Because I had a great time. My only regret was missing some of the afternoon sets due to heat and exhaustion. But I will DEFINATELY be going back to that beautiful place next year.
Hell, the Wife and I found camping info for the area last night and may be driving up to camp, swim, and hang out at Clinton Lake & Park in August! I really dug the place. So close to home from me, too…

Fuck Yeah! She blew me and the rest of my campground away… We set up the chairs by the sbd. to relax and enjoy some tasty Fatties and ended up all dancing our asses off in a frenzy… A big highlight of the weekend…

My strangest Waka memory:
I wake up at 5:30 am with a raging thirst and a need to piss. I open up a Gatorade and saunter clumsily over to the porta-johns. Shakedown is still raging as the Sun comes up. I get up to the porta-johns which are all filed and get in front of one to wait my turn. A girl is also waiting by me. We make eye contact…she smiles, then looks freaked out. She walks up to the porta-john she is waiting at and bangs on it…“Missy, Missy! Come out here quick…there’s a HOT GUY out here looking at me. What should I do?” Her friend inside just mumbles incoherently. I finally go into a stall and pee (singing "I just PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! by Keller Williams). They bang on my porta-john door and tell me to come out. I finish and come out. These two college age girls are just giggling. “Oooo he IS hot…what’s your name Hot Guy!!! My friend here likes you”. I am dumbfounded and tired.
I just shake my head at them and walk off. “Hey wait…don’t go…come party with us!”
I went back to my tent and the spirit of WesManTooth took me off into dream…

^^^^ it sounds like the security was as bad, if not worse, than initially described on here. even on-site busts, which usually i feel don’t happen much. like “once you’re inside anything goes” kinda deal…at least for a festie…of course at Alpine there’s narcs all over the place dressed like willie nelson.
