This way, i can get spun and not have to worry about being up all night and not having enough energy for the next day. I can just take it easy all day sunday, stay another night and leave monday or tuesday.
so i called the venue last week and they said that its definately gonna be more expensive at the door.
Oh well. It’ll be worth it. I swear it was cheaper at the gate last year.

ok Justin, here’s my story.
i just talked to my friend that’s gonna be going but he can’t get off work on Friday so he’s gonna try to get off early and try to make it up there in time for the Allmans and definately for Saturday, which is when Rusted Root, Keller, Trucks and Tedeschi and anything good about Friday is going to be happening again. Depending on what my car looks like in a couple days i might ride up with him.
BUT, if my car is running good and you and your camp is gonna be there the whole time, i’ll come up in my own car with whoever wants to ride with me or by myself and pitch my tent with you folks (unless there’s an excess of floor space because my tent’s pretty big).
Now, as far as tickets are concerned, i’m not sure what to do or how much they might be at the door. Right now on Ticketmaster 2 day passes are 140 and one day passes are 80. If you get them through the park they’re a bit more but all that does is just make up for all the Ticketbastard charges and shit. SO, that’s where i’m at. What’s your deal?

Well, if my calculations are correct, i should be there around 6-8pm on Thursday evening. Sooo, if my southern Georgian friends are gonna be at the same campground at the same time, i will be near the “duck pond”. They say they are very proud of the site, and that they claim it every festival (including magfest). So, I should be there.
You are more than welcome, of course, to come out and tent up with us, wherever the campsite is. You know how all my peoples’ are. None of them will care a bit. Friendly pieces of shit…
Last year, we had a random dude driving by himself all the way from PA come camp with us and it was a blast. I hope I see him again this year.
None of these kids at the camp will you know, unless we talk Dusty into coming (40/50% chance. That bastard better be there…) But they are all very welcoming and hospitable.
Either way, if your Volvo feels up to the challenge, bring 'er up, and we’ll have a spot for you (big tent or not).
I’m counting my money as I type (yeah, that’s right i’m talented biatttttch) and tickets look like they won’t be a problem. I have three kids riding and gas will be ok.

OK so, $173 in my wallet right now. That should ALMOST cover my ticket and my share of gasoline. I work tomorrow and Saturday, so that should all be spending money. I already got my friggin’ hammock from wanee last year, so that’s taken care of.
Plus I have about $50 put away. Hopefully I’ll ake a bunch of cash in the next two days (doubtful), so I can go all out.
Either way, this is the first festival I’ve COMPLETELY paid for, without any help from relatives or friends. I can get the hang of this. I feel good.
