dark star orchestra played in the afternoon last year.
the late night jam on the first night never happened and the late night jam the second night was the John Popper Porject.
there was also a band playing at their campsite called “Shak Nasti” that was way better than the popper band.
It is April 14th and 15th I think? And about DSO’s playing time, I didn’t go to this last year, a bunch of my friends went and had a blast and told me about it so my details may be a litttle mixed up (I was trying to graduate, how lame). Oh well. Hope to see some of ya there watchin Warren and Trucks tear it up in the woods.
^either way, it was the best weekend ever in the history of man-kind and i can’t wait!

if it’s anything like last year, these stages’ times will be on relatively the same shcedule, maybe a 15 or 30 minute overlap.
For instance, NMA and Gov’t Mule will play at the same time, maybe one will start 15 or 30 minutes before the other, BUT they and most of these acts are playing both days, so you’ll have a good opportunity to see everyone.
The Allman Brothers will have NO competition on the other stage, nor will the Derek Trucks midnight set.

Cool. Yeah I could pull off seeing everyone, I’m just gonna have trouble leaving some of these shows. I love this lineup! Sweet ass venue, eh? I figured it would be nice. I can’t wait to get there.
Ok…Who’s driving north after the show. I have to be back in Knoxville by 8:00 AM on Monday. I have two tests. I’m definatly going, I just need to come back and my party wants to stay until monday night. Gah!

Well, I am proud to say that Wanee was the best damned festival I have ever been to. I am definatly going back. I had never even been to FL before. The only bad things about it is taht I fell on my ass the day we left and it got more and more swollen as the weekend progressed. The ride back last night was horrible!! 8 1/2 hours of pain. I had to go to the hospital today. It turned out that this knot on the bottom of my spine was extremely infected and they had to lance it (which hurt like a bitch), but I got some percocet for it. Woohoo! All that walking, dancing, and camping I did was very rough but worth it. I got down the WHOLE time. I saw every artist besides Honeytribe and OAR. I am lucky as shit to get to hear so much good music. I went down to the river on Monday and ran up on a gator accidently. I had never seen a wild gator so that was cool. That water felt good, but it was wierd because it made your skin all red. That place is SO beautiful. I couldn’t believe the beauty of that place. And the Mushroom stage was the best stage EVER! I like that place even more than the Fox in ATL! I may even go to Magnolia fest. Yeah I never saw you Brady, or that I know of. But you may have seen me. If you saw a guy in a white bonarroo shirt with medium sized dreads flipping out on acid on Friday night, that was me. Dude, I’ve never completly lost it before, but I sure did. I thought I was going to jail for some reason there for a little while. I guess I completely lost it towards the end of Derek Trucks. There were even cops driving up to me in golf carts asking me if I needed help and shit like that. I tripped way too hard. I’ll have to tell you more about that trip later.
