What ELSE are you listening to now?

^^ I’ve got the 5/5/02 Princeton show from there and, needless to say, it’s quite nice. I’m definitely gonna be grabbing some more stuff from Archive in the near future. I remember seeing Gener Band open up for Jon Anderson about 4 years ago but I don’t think a recording (or documented setlist) exists. As for now, I’m listening to another item I grabbed from the Archive:

09-16-93 Madison Square Garden, New York, N.Y. (Thu)
1: Rain, Shakedown> Wang Dang Doodle, Cold Rain, Queen Jane, Althea, Eternity, Don’t Ease
2: China Cat> I Know You Rider, Estimated> Eyes> Drumz> Way To Go> Days Between> Throwing Stones> NFA E: Liberty

I keep on listening to things. Right now I’m reviewing & editing my own shit. Live recordings.

Also been obsessed with Yes. Not the Clash, not at all, not ever.

Really that’s been it. Live Yes, studio Yes, and working the gigs. Wishing I was writing more songs and listening to less ‘else’ … in fact, I know I explore less music because I have anxiety about not spending enough time on my own stuff.

Yet I’ll binge on Yes, or Phish, or whatever it happens to be.

Ain’t Love Funny, very nice.

the question isn’t “What ELSE are you NOT listening to now?”

right now I am listening to the Clash.

Rush > Yes = Springsteen < Clash

I think you mean
Springsteen > Rush = Yes < Clash

And now that you put it that way, I totally shoulda realized you’ve been right about this all along.

::begins Operation:Ebay Record Collection Switcheroo::

now that i can agree with.

::puts on YES and Rush at the same time::
:sunglasses:

lol!

just started in on the second half.

That is one of my favorite rap albums of all time.

yeah, been getting in to the hip hop recently…oh got your Hank III!

fuck yeah, will be getting something back to you soon.

Sweet, that was sitting on my desk for about two weeks… slaaaaaaacking.

I would alter it with a
Springsteen > Rush > Yes < Clash - but who’s counting…

Just gave this one a try:

It’s his new one with that new “Fuck You” song on there. It’s strange as there’s about five or six songs that are just boring and not very good but they’re outweighed by the rest of the tunes which are pretty solid. Maybe I’ll just burn a version with just the good songs. Still, the dude’s got talent.
