First Casey Jones in 3 years with a HUGE jam in the middle. You can tell Jerry is happy to bring it back. Melodies are beautiful, and the Jack Straw isn’t half bad either! Second set is pure magic as well! :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Man, the first set with Neil solo, amazing. The second, full band set is pretty darn good too.

“Stranger” appears on “Without A Net” - last “Dark Star”: 07-13-84 [359] - last “Attics”: 10-28-72 [1082] - Show billed as “Formerly The Warlocks”

The FOB Nakamichi CM300’s of that show is one of my favorite recordings ever.

when I try to d/l this it comes up as text…don’t really know what to do?? I’ve been trying the MP3 so maybe that’s the problem?

The download links to the various parts of the show are in the text file. I guess the guy’s trying to cover his ass. I was confused at first too.

Just picked up this country blues comp today from Lunchbox Records in Charlotte. I saw the vinyl and asked if they had it on CD but he said it’s put out on a vinyl only label. It looked pretty cool so I got it and I’m listening right now.

Very nice music to listen to on a nice warm sunny day off work. I guess Bull Doze Blues is where Canned Heat got “Going up the Country” from. You can listen to some short clips here.

I think this is the saddest song I’ve ever heard :frowning:

For me, side A of this album gets a 5/5, side B gets about a 3.5/5

Watched a VHS of this one just before as well:

^interesting about 2112. I like side 2 better than side one. But I can also see what you’re sayin. In a way that album hasn’t stood up over time for me. Actually I didn’t even like it at first. Me and 2112 don’t always see eye to eye. Caress of Steel seems to hit the spot that belongs to 2112 in my heart.

I’m listening to bits of each song we played thursday at our St Paddy’s gig in E Prov, as I edit my recording. Doesn’t sound half bad. We didn’t have our strongest show, but as luck would have it it’s the clearest recording of the three gigs. Well don’t that figure your monkey’s uncle.
