would you mind elaborating on this for us?

It’s The Beatles. That’s about all I know. The edited tracks are probably on some of the anthologies.

Well, you knew it was coming eventually. I got ahold of Miss GaGa’s new album and gave it a listen over a number of car drives home from work. For one, I got the two-disc version which I wouldn’t bother with…all of the added songs are really very generic and don’t stand out at all…I can see why they’re not on the main album.

As for the main thing, I’ll give her credit in that she really stayed away from slow songs almost entirely…almost every song is a dance tune which is nice to keep you moving. Some songs are generic and a few are just downright weird but I like a number of them, particularly Born This Way, Government Hooker, Marry the Night, Edge of Glory and especially Americano which has a latin feel to it. Not too bad but I’m unsure how often I’d listen to the whole thing without skipping stuff. She’s got a ways to go for that.

Clearly he’s “thinking” of a possible purchase…how nice.

What to hear a ridiculous and terrible song?

No it’s not what I’ve been listening to but I did stumble upon it on the radio. The whole hook is that the song is about “What Rock and Roll Looks Like.” Never mind that it’s a techno/dance song, the chicks are all dressed in cheerleader outfits, there’s the same tired group-dancing that’s in every other pop video and nothing about the song has to do with Rock and Roll at all. Oh yeah and it has Lil Wayne in it…cuz boy, when I think of Rock and Roll the first thing I think of is Lil Wayne. Can’t that DJ from Cleveland who coined the term sue them for misuse of the term? Or maybe get the Hall of Fame involved? Who told them this was a good idea?

I’m here to admit to listening to another cheesy 80s hair band record. This time it’s RATT’s Dancing Undercover LP, which, holy God, is fucking terrible. I love it.

You want some '80’s? How about a little Night Ranger? Erin and I bust this one out on Rock Band almost every time after we start drinking. Great drunken karaoke song.

^Boogie Nights

^^Possibly one of the worst power ballads ever…especially with some of the most non-sensical lyrics.

Even with me knowing exactly what the song’s about, this still makes no sense.

Just listen to this song. Don’t even watch the video. Hit play, minimize the window…and REEEE-LAAAX. One of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard.
