It’s just that Vernixx saw Deerhoof supporting the Flaming Lips in OKC…that was probably the worst reception of a band I’ve ever seen. It’ s worth reading…you should dig it out…

Neutral Milk Hotel’s “In the Aeroplane Over the Sea” is my new obsession album. WOW! It is just one of my favorite listens ever. From the acoustic opener through the fuzzy pop of Ghost, all the way through to the wonderfully sad closer this album delivers all the way through. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Chin Up Chin Up- both albums
Scotland Yard Gospel Choir- I bet you say that to all the boys
Reel Big Fish- Live double disc
Mastodon- Blood Mountain

Are you Trey?? Because Trey is suddenly in love with Neutral Milk Hotel. Never mind the fact that “useless, asshole critics” like me have been singing its praises since 1998.

I couldn’t find it but I didn’t look very hard. Oh wellz.

yes, I am trey.

Here you go, Greg. Straight from The Oracle.

The opening band was probably the worst band I had ever seen. And I am a guy who has easily seen probably a thousand bands of all genres and styles throughout the last 25 years. DEERHOOF is easily the fucking worst band I have ever seen in my life. Now, I embrace the avant garde; I worship Cap

Ha ha ha ha!! That is great.

I haven’ t heard The Runner’s Four, but Reville, Apple O’, and Milk Man were great records. Their earlier stuff… not so much. They have grown into a great band.

right at this particular moment I’m listening to “everbody knows this is nowhere” by Neil Young… good drinking a beer, lounging around music.

Today, on Alli’s I POD there was:

Against the Wind - Bob Segar
Cry on Demand - Ryan Adams
All I want is you - U2
Slip Slidin Away - Paul Simon
Night Speaks to a woman - Trey Anastasio
All of the Farmhouse album - Phish (of course…)
Ride Me High - Widespread Panic
Lady Madonna - The Beatles
Crazy About You - Ryan Adams
Up, up and Away - Dave & Friends
Sirens - SCI
Ain’t wastin time no more - The Allman BRos.

there ya go…

You are Brian!

HEy…if you guys like Neutral Milk hotel…you should check the Olivia Tremor Control…I saw NMH open for them a few years back… awesome stuff.

^Whoa… REALLY?

::has a heart attack and dies::

HOLY FUCK!! Those are two of my absolute favorite bands. Olivia Tremor Control are fucking great. Hell, the guy that is mainly responsible for NMH used to be in Olivia Tremor Control!!

AWESOME!!!

I love green typewriters…that’s a great song. And A sunshine Fix anf Fireplace isn’t bad either

Small world fellas…

Trey from the Electric Factory 10/11/2006 listening to Heavy Things, pretty decent stuff

Then on to the part of the show with Mr. Gordo for 46 days, Twis, First Tube and Bass Jam/rotation jam

right now im listening to my friend make beats on my other computer…using frooty loops…its pretty dope…

sometimes we synch up this comp and the one he is on and freak out with it at full volume for a few hours…back and forth beats…pretty sweet…sometimes he’ll go at like 70 bpm’s and i’ll go at 140…good times good times.
