^Had a chance to see them live in a few weeks. I passed.

Just picked this up. Funky Fresh Fabulous
Goes well with a fine red wine or a hetty brew.

^Every once in a while I have to at least fire up Estranged from that album. Such an underrated tune.

Moe’s new album…out this year. Not bad but I’d say I like the second half more than the first. Will probably hear a few of these tomorrow.
Also, I’ll probably have to check out the new U2 album sometimes…I wasn’t big on their last two albums really so I’m not expecting much. It’s funny though…we’re in an era when one of the biggest bands out there gave out their album to everyone for FREE and folks complained about it. I think of the days when you had to stand in line in stores at midnight to get the new album and now folks don’t even want them for free. Just tells you everything about the state of music. One of the biggest bands these days can’t even give an album away.
Funny that GnR came up. Was watching this video from the Ritz 1988 just a few days ago. Such a good band.

My brother had that bootleg too! Love those old versions of Rocket Queen. SO good.
Well I heard about your problem
With your old man
Well he’s a non-issue
Just as fast as I can
Abandon all ye people
Abandon all ye hope
Abandon all ye people
It’s the Day of the Jackalope
-Clutch, “Day of the Jackalope”
Again! They do a great cover of sunshine of your love and The Times they are A- Changin… They also cover Light My Fire which when I first saw it on the track listings, I was like Meh, They could of chosen a much better Doors song, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Also Spinning this disc

Lyrics aren’t very nice, but I like to believe it’s tongue-in-cheek, but started this morning’s drive with this.
Love this music…

^Wackiness. Just yesterday I was rocking out to this. Badass live version here. Love the Ronnie Wood sightings.

Also this. SO good:

New Prince albumS! Plural.
This song is my jam, though I guess it was officially available almost a year before the new album dropped.

But as good as both albums are, and they are, I have a feeling this kid is gonna come out and eat Prince’s lunch (and breakfast
) when his new album hits.

How’s he going to do that? By ripping off a Prince beat? Not impressed by this level of sampling in any respect.
I’ve got side A of Ozzy’s No Rest For the Wicked going in the office. Kind of feels right for a quiet Monday w/my tie on.

I mainly meant more in a commercial sense, but you should really give Kendrick more of a chance. I think his last album, Good Kid MAAD City, was probably my favorite album of 2012, and if you listen to that album then this new single, you can tell this album is going to be huge departure for him. Who knows…maybe it will suck, but I really like that new single. You are not in the minority though, it seems, not enjoying this new song. If you read the comments, it’s getting a TON of hate.
Anyway, also listening to a lot of Dr. Dog lately. They’ve got a really good sound going.
The album with this song has been my Dark Souls soundtrack as of late.

I’ve heard a few other things by him that weren’t bad but I can’t stand those songs with heavy sampling…all it makes me want to do is listen to the song they’re ripping off.
Not bad Dr. Dog clip though…catchy stuff.
