Hold it!!
Do you mean there is something else other than Phish?

I’d say 95% of my listening is Phish. Is that bad? I know there is other good music out there. But it’s not Phish, and that’s what matters.

Yesterday, while getting an application, I bought Captain Beefheart’s ‘Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller)’ on vinyl for a lean $12 at my favorite local independent music chain.
Got a couple really great jazz albums from the University library. Currently listening to the first disc of ‘Complete Live At The Plugged Nickel- 1965’ by my man Miles Davis.
king crimson - red. what a kickass album. by far my favorite king crimson cd.
^ Oooh I have not watched Anthem to Beauty in a while… Might be a good idea since I am the only one in the house not drinking tonight (damn you 9 AM mid terms).
But anyways, I am listening to the “Dark Star Anthology 1” off of sugarmegs. I have become addicted to this site, even though it is low quality, it sounds perfectly fine coming out of my computer speakers.
What I like about this board is that this thread is less than half the size of the What Show are You Listening to Right Now? thread…I probably listen to 2 phish c.d.'s for every other 1 album I put on…
Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Zappa; Hot Rats, Uncle Meat, Baby Snakes. Whatever I feel like basically. I’ve just come to this realization that amassed an unreal amount of Zappa over the summer…I’m up to at least 30 Zappa Albums…How did this happen? All I do is listen to is Phish, but I just bought all this Zappa like it would never be available to me again.
Uncle Meat is one of my favorite albums ever. Ian Underwood is amazing.
Galactic- Late for the future
It gives me a funk-gasm
I should probably get into jazz more.
As anybody heard the Monk/Coltrane collabration at Carnegie Hall?

Listening to lots of indie rock lately. The new Silver Jews album is great; Dave Berman is an American underground treasure. Ever since I listened to ‘The Natural Bridge’ on vinyl whilst drunk on beer at my girlfriend’s friend’s boyfriend’s apartment late at night…I love them a lot.
perpetual groove, perpetual groove, and more perpetual groove
i will always listen my allman bros, always…
I’ve been in a [color=pink]Floyd phase lately…mainly the show (one of the shows?) where they played all of Animals and Wish You Were Here…that and Meddle have been in my CD player more often than not.
This what has been in heavy rotation on my cd player lately…
Susan Tedeschi’s new album Hope and Desire ( awesome), Ray Lamontagne, Jeff Buckley, The Flaming Lips, Simon and Garfunkel( I’m rediscovering the song " The only living boy in New York"… fucking awesome), Counting Crows( “August and Everything After” is still a a good album, damn it!) The Allman Bros. and Mike and Leo.
I just watched a great DVD I snagged off of thetradersden.org last night…It actually took like a week to download…well worth it for a pro-shot Dylan & The Dead concert from Giants Stadium, including both Dead sets and the Dylan set…I don’t know why so much trash gets talked about this tour, that show was fucking stellar…the Deads 2nd set starts with a Morning Dew > Playing…sweet ass shit!
Band of Gypsies. Good stuff.
I want to listen to some Traffic…my buddy and I went out today to find some, but I could only find a scratched copy of “Mr Fantasy” and the rest of the records were like 30 bucks. On c.d. I can only find best of’s…What Traffic should I get? I have “Low Spark”, but I have a real craving for some more…
Gorgoroth - En Stram Lukt av kristent Blod
